What if Freeman weren't held in stasis during the portal storm that ravaged the Earth and caught the attention of the Combine? What if Freeman had a chance to prevent the Combine invasion from ever materializing? What if Freeman could reverse mankind's fate? Fate Reversal is a 10-map single-player mod for Half-Life. In the mod you come across a variety of locations (including cities and space stations) instead of spending the entire duration in the confines of Black Mesa research facility.

Ever since this mod was released in June 2010, I've had plans for a trailer. So about five hours ago I finally got around to actually making one. Enjoy the results and download the mod in case you haven't already (and even if you have, why don't you give it a replay?)! Check videos section in case the video doesn't show up below.

(Here's a Youtube link in case you want to check the trailer there: Youtube.com )

Thanks for the video! Had a good time watching it & drinking coffee.

Was this your first walkthrough? Some bits suggested no, some suggested yes, although this could be due to "clever editing".

btw who ever keeps claiming this to be a short mod is stupid...it clearly is not short...you jest love speedrunning...as I clearly have shown to the public via youtube that the mod even without the load screens and **** is 44+ minutes worth of gameplay...which is pretty damn good for todays standards of a MOD...

Good mod, but two things.

One, had to set the video settings to Computer (or whatever it's called) since playing on OpenGL lagged the game badly.

Two, game kept freezing on map changes, such when I activated the beam on the fortress.

Maybe it's just Vista that's causing these?

Good mod, anyways!

One renderer (either Direct3D or OpenGL) has always given me headache, depending on which kind of a computer I've had. If one doesn't work, try the other. It hasn't got anything to do with the mod.

No one else has reported freezes like that so it could be your system. I myself have tried running the mod only on XP & Windows 7.

Nice mod man. Just made a review if you want to read it. This is one of the best mods out, because of the storyline, and the ending =) epic!
10/10
