it's nothing special, just some wild debug recordings ...
but i personally would love to see such things from other developers, so i asked myself why the hell i did not should do it :D

I know, but things like this are good to see how the development has changed so I appreciate things like this.

mostly no one will notice the struggle behind a working thing or would mind why a special feature is like it is or not :D there is always weeks and months of pain and frustration behind :D

My code always either works like intended, or it has simply no effect at all. Sad actually :(

> My code always either works like intended

:D even if you have, hmm, some houndred thousends lines of code which interact at many stages like i have in devkid ? taking also count that some of the bugs are just occour because of bugs which crytek left in?
if you say still yes, you then should applay immediately at any software house you like and you will earn millions of cash within months :)

ok, stop kidding: i'm sure that you can type in some lines of code and they ofcourse do what they should do after they pass the compiler.
but a "bug" means not, that the code is broken, a "bug" appears by strange interactions from sides or sources where you before never thinking or knowing from.
i can say, i have on my windows machine houndreds of programms from various companies and NO SINGLE one is even nearly bug free.

a good example was the "jumping AI" bug: i needed WEEKS to find the source of the bug. it was original farcry behaviour which just (by accident !!) doesn't appear in vanilla FC.
there was a simple table missing, they just forgot to merged them correct because it was not needed before ^^

it is totally impossible to know or avoid such bugs, and i have per week about ~10 of such things (ok, mostly they are fixable withing minutes).

Maybe my changes up until now just weren`t big enough ;)
It also highly depends on the code structure, I think. Imagine having all of your devkit`s code written like a spaghetti, instead of a lasagne[ look it up, a very interesting read!].

i know the term "spaghetti" code back from the time as i have coded in pure assembler.
now the code is done in lua, objectorientated, with structures, functions and so on. all you can say is, that single functions are called "spaghetti" like.
