Five Elite Mercenaries are send to an Island in middle of the 1980'. The Task: Find and Eliminate a local Drug Baron. Features: new Physic, real Sunmovement, Day/Night Change, Hunger/Food system, realistic (!) Weather system, Light/Dark viewing system for AI, 5 different Fractions on the Island. Complete Realistic simulation of nearly all things, including Sleep. New weapons, new Vehicles. Vehicles driving system is now exact (!) like GTA IV , FireSystem,... this mod is Heavily inspired by GTA, IGI, FarCry.
this is how the actual reworked shadow renderer work in setting medium and how it looks in menu. was a long (one week) way to achieve that :D
btw, for that door i needed 3 hours, its full modelled with all detailes and i have also some different versions (for example open)
If this is on medium,then how it looks on Ultra?
its not yet final decided, because i already blur the shadow on this medium setting. have done long and massive tests and it seems its no difference in CPU usage. in vanilla FC you have the blur setting in very high, but i'm currently thinking about to switch blur off in ultra, so that you can have possible razor sharp shadows if the shadowcaster is not too big. maybe the blur setting must also be in the menu as own switch, because its really a matter of personal taste :/
