Five Elite Mercenaries are send to an Island in middle of the 1980'. The Task: Find and Eliminate a local Drug Baron. Features: new Physic, real Sunmovement, Day/Night Change, Hunger/Food system, realistic (!) Weather system, Light/Dark viewing system for AI, 5 different Fractions on the Island. Complete Realistic simulation of nearly all things, including Sleep. New weapons, new Vehicles. Vehicles driving system is now exact (!) like GTA IV , FireSystem,... this mod is Heavily inspired by GTA, IGI, FarCry.

Have found a bad behaviour: the most important cpu eater is the realtime shadow. There is a rule: more than 7 meter shadow distance drawing will halve your fps rate. Now the new build in distance scaler and or my new shsdow settings will come in to the game: if distance scaler is active, the max drawing distance of shadows evev in ultrahigh is limited to 7meters. BUT there is now the mentioned bug: this will only work if you set in editor/light the shadow/light management to dp3! Default setting is always terrain/lighting precise. so switch it please to dp3.
Now the distance scaler or the advvideo shadow settings will take effect and really will increase your fps!
