Five Elite Mercenaries are send to an Island in middle of the 1980'. The Task: Find and Eliminate a local Drug Baron. Features: new Physic, real Sunmovement, Day/Night Change, Hunger/Food system, realistic (!) Weather system, Light/Dark viewing system for AI, 5 different Fractions on the Island. Complete Realistic simulation of nearly all things, including Sleep. New weapons, new Vehicles. Vehicles driving system is now exact (!) like GTA IV , FireSystem,... this mod is Heavily inspired by GTA, IGI, FarCry.

ALPHA RELEASE OF THE ENGINE DEVKID

i have setted up a little (!) bit the two vehicles in front, sorry for the driver sit offset bug. pls read readme.txt.

i have tried to get into the gears and gearshift, my first attemts are in those both cars.
please look into
engine
maxrpm
gearshifhtuprpm
gearshiftdownrpm

those three values seems to control:
maxspeed, speedagility, gearcount and gearchangespeed.
please experiment around (better clone those two vehicles to have always the "original" because its very easy to mess all up *g*)

in wheels there are friction parameters for each wheel. also notice the dynfriction ratio, play around with it in 0.1 steps . 0.8 means more drifting but bad curve behaviour/bad steering, 1.2 means rockstable but no drifting.

for maximal fun i setted the fuelconsumption to 0.01, normal would be 1. the pitstop will refuel with consumption value, so 0.01 wont work, but you dont need to refuel your vehicle.
so please no bugreports that refuel dont work!

changed drivingsounds and vehicle model will only update if you clone the vehicle!

pressing c for first person view will bind the cam to eye helper. because the vehicles was designed for other environment the eye helper is some meters behind the vehicle, so better dont switch to first person view.

musics are made by me (pvcf) many many years ago.

please keep in mind the actual devkid was never intendet to be a racingmod, so pls be patience with the state of some vehicle routines. its under heavy developement!

day night change textures are missing.
all OPCL weapons are missing.

if you create a own map and would like to share it to the comunity for to be part of the later release of the racingmod, following rules:
try to keep all objects, sounds, textures in your levelfolder, if this is to hard, pls create a folder in each section with the same level name. for example, if your level is named "snowymountain", than
create in objects, textures and sounds a folder with name "snowymountain" and insert your stuff there.
if you create own particles please use NOT the delivered packages, always create your own with the levelname as prefix.

btw, i have forgotten to copy the exported materials and particle shader, so, if you really will play the game in game mode, and not in editor, open first editor, load the level, press export and all is fine.

the upload will need a hour from now, so pls wait and look to the post date...

edit:
ClearingVehicleRadio supports currently only 22khz mono input.
i have here 64kb ogg mono format, renamed with ending wav.

if you need highquality stereo soundtrack with all formats, pls use ClearingMusicPlayer.

the devkid is internally FULL patched to 1.4 it *should* run on 1.3 patchlevel installations. but i dont have tested it, so reports are welcome.

NO BUG SUPPORT IN THIS THREAD! please read the part for in the delivered readme.txt!
