The biggest problem with Far Cry's from the third game onwards is the difficulty, it seems that everything is easy even when playing on high difficulties(mainly FC6) as if Ubisoft nowadays makes its games dedicated just for children. My problem with it is the very low recoil of the weapons, many resources that you find from the beginning and the possibility of seeing enemies through everything in the games...

I've been looking for mods that make the game more challenging but unfortunately some have good points amid bad points, bad things like having all the weapons, equipment and skills at the beginning or most mods don't even seem to work as intended.

Your Redux mod does almost this but has some bugs or missing things(just like other hardcore mods)

I wanted to give your mod a few suggestions to make it great:
- Everything will be locked at the beginning(like vanilla) and will be unlocked only by progressing and increasing level
- Reduce the amount of loot found, price of loot sold and the amount of XP gained
- Increase the price of weapons, items, equipment and items needed for crafting
- Slightly increase the variety of enemies and animals spread across the map
- Improve vision, response time and skill of enemies
- Picking up weapons from enemies and unlocking towers does not make them unlock/free in the store
- Weapons are more difficult to handle and the damage to all NPCs and the player will be the same
- It will only be possible to see enemies through walls using a syringe or on the minimap

Some mods to take as an example:
- Nexusmods.com
- Nexusmods.com
- Nexusmods.com

There is a way to teach how to emerge them but adding and removing things from each one?

A lot of these things are outside the scope of this mod. I recommend playing on the hardest difficulty for a challenge.

Are you able to see enemies through walls at all using this mod? If so, something is wrong.

I do encourage you to download all the mods you like, get the mod tools from this page, and then make your own perfect mod. There's no better way to understand which files do what than by poking around.

The the tables with prices, loot, etc. are .ndb files. Weapon damage is handled on a per weapon basis, via the weaponname.fcb file, which can be edited when converted to .xml

I know what you mean. Far Cry 3 is way too easy compared to Far Cry 2. The devs had to add a higher difficulty level AFTER they released the game. This mod is the best one though. All it needs is to fix the minimap actually staying as a compass and making picked up weapons and unlocked towers NOT unlocking free weapons. All weapons should be bought. Also the camera needs to be fixed so that it does not permanently tag enemies, just tag em for a couple seconds so you can pass that one tutorial mission where you are forced to tag someone.

Also try to get the more brutal healing animations to play more frequently. I'm sick of always seeing the god damn bandage wrapping animation play lol. Also it'd be nice to get to see those camouflaged enemies from Ziggy's mod. I'm sick of almost every enemy being colour coded. Finally your Rakyat allies and even civilians should have more health so they don't instantly die from an animal attack.

Duuude you gotta come back to this mod. You're so close to fixing the minimap/compass issue!

Will you update this mod again? Far Cry 3 got an update in June and now it crashes when I try to play it with this or Ziggy's Mod.

Don't use the .dlls if you have a legit, up to date verison. 99% of the mod is from the patch files.

Just edit your own .dll if you wish to recreate the features - holster, no blinking, less annoying menu sound.

Try playing with the full intro version and then use the DLL files from the regular most up to date version. I got this mod to work that way.

Thanks for the tip. I've been too busy to mess with modding stuff lately. Glad you're playing the mods.

Yo man, do you know what exactly triggers each brutal healing animation? I'm doing a new game with your mod on hardest difficulty, I'm just exploring the island before committing to the mission where you save your girlfriend. So I'm still early in the game. However, the whole time I've been playing, 90% of the healing animations are the bandage wrap on my left arm. The other 10% is fixing dislocated thumb on right hand. Only recently have I seen a 3rd animation, pulling a shard of metal out of my right hand and bandaging it.

My last playthru with your mod I remember seeing a lot more animations. Is it a game progression thing? I heard it was dependant on how you took damage. Yanking shrapnel out of your hand has happened to me recently after suffering from grenade damage.
