v 1.6 - .dll edits, lasers removed from enemy bolt action, optic ADS fixed v 1.5 - Repair tool fixed. Type 10 tweaked. v 1.4b - File cleanup. Read Me updated with info about the Citra fight v 1.3 - Improved compatibility with Steam and Uplay versions. Better fire (Thanks Scubrah). Better HBAO (Thanks Evergreen) v 1.2 - Updated weather, fixed .bin files to be more compatible with modern digital releases v 1.1 - Removed unnecessary files, some of which were erroneously included in previous release. 1.1 is the intended version of FC3 Redux. It should also work better for non-english releases. v 1.0 of Far Cry 3: Redux. This is an immersion focused overhaul of the game. Similar goals and principles of my Far Cry 2: Redux mod. Great work as usual, BigTinz. Though, I wish I could skip all the cutscenes and play missions more freely, the gunplay was more dramatic, and the setting was in Africa... aw screw it, I wish this was Far Cry 2!!!

None of the technical improvements in Far Cry 3 make up for the inferior game.
I wish Dunia was a more mod friendly game. FC2 in Dunia 2 would be an amazing thing.
The last comment is mine. Tried 3 different repacks, every time same problem occurs. Only way to launch the game is to delete the mod ;(
The privateer release is meant for the "repacks".
There is some kind of funky bug that happens with a lot of FC3 mods, where you can't click start. I don't know what exactly causes it, but I think it's the .dll

Where is this Privateer release you speak of? I don't see any other versions in the files section.
I've removed it, as it's no longer necessary.
If the normal .dlls don't work, try the alternate .dlls in the folder.
The actual game files are the same.
Is there a way to bring back the original intro? I'm going to play the game for the first time.

That is an external program that lets you tweak your camera FOV and viewmodel.
If you're OK with the default, you don't have to use this.

DLC/ULC weapons. Bow, sniper, canon, Type 10, etc.
