Europe 1200 gets ported to Warband. With a bigger map, more factions, and loads of new content. A reallistic mod that takes the player to the Middle Ages, when more than 20 different factions fight for their own expansion and glory.

Basic Installers.

Steam isn't mod-friendly. But there is a way to have it ok even if you have it installed as Steam. You need to see the game's code on your game's profile on your Steam library, and use it to unlock the complete game after downloading and installing the version from Taleworlds' page.Note: You need to see the code on the library cause the code on your game box can only be used to instal the game on Steam. That way you have the same Warband, but running perfectly with mods. Of course, you wouldn't have the scores and tropheys from Steam. But you wouldn't miss them after playing all the mods out there.
Once you have the game ready, you can instal the mod.

You have to unrar the main mod file.

Once you have the '1200 Europe' folder you have to place it under Mount&Blade Warband/Modules. The game folder 'Mount&Blade' is usually installed and therefore located under Program Files, though you might have installed in another place.Once the module folder is under 'Modules' just click on the Mount&Blade Warband desktop shortcut or exe and get to the first menu that appears in the centre of your desktop. In the upper part you have 'Current Module', were you can choose the module you want to play. Native is the original module (the one that comes with the game), just select 'Europe 1200' and click on 'Play Mount&Blade Warband'. And Enjoy!

grrrrr. Why is it that some mods work with steam and others don't? I hate steam sooooo much. I'm glad you made this page so I can FINALLY get rid of it while keeping M&B

You know, you can just go to

C:\ProgramFiles\Steam\steamapps\common\mountblade warband\Modules

Wherever you installed Steam, go to it, then steamapps\common\mountblade warband\Modules and do the same thing that the install guide says. Just dump the Europe 1200 folder in the Modules folder.
