V 3.0: Lens flares & dirt, visor reflections / water droplets, god rays, depth of field, night & thermal vision scopes, dynamic wet surfaces with reflections, rainbows, volumetric light & fog, colored speculars and many other effects.
This is a cheaper, hence less computationally expensive (even though also less visually convincing) alternative approach to of the experimental dynamic puddles I had demonstrated back in 2013.
In contrast to the former approach, those water areas won't grow or shrink, nor won't they show heavy water movement. They will just be there, in pre-defined spots. Almost like the regular dynamic wet surfaces, but not bound to rainfall.
=D nice
Thanks.
