The year is 2055, more than thirty years after the events of Zero Hour, Earth suffers a catastrophic collision with meteorites. WOW, much better than the original model, although this appears much more expensive, and looks like it could transport infantry as well... can it?
So far it cannot do that. However a secondary abillity is in discussion for it. What that will be is yet to be decided, and even when it will, it will fall under the wait and see phrase :P .
It shouldn't. I can't imagine a special unit having such a useless function as troop transportation (useless as in most players almost never use troop transports).
It does however look like it can take a hell of a lot of punishment, and dish out about the same ammount :D.

it looks more like the banshee now. however it looks better form the prefious model it looks like armored aaa that even wins it form the plane it it doesnt fire first
The similarites were intentional. It makes a faction feel more realistic when some of the vehicles it has share similarites. However i am surprised that no one has yet descovered on what design this model is based.
banshee i realy thought it was a remake of the bashee when i saw it but as much as you pepole hate it when we compare units we'd think ah well lust jsut say nothing

I personally never played Generals cause when it was realeased I was 4. I think great mods like this will make me buy Generals if I can!
Heh, well generals/Zero Hour, is pretty cheap to buy nowadays.
Any online retailer shouldn't charge much for it.

For some reason, this vehicle reminds me of the Badger IFV for the European Federation in Tom Clancy's EndWar, did you base this vehicle off that one by any chance?
Nope, it was actually based on the Unreal Tournament 3 design, of the Paladin vehicle.
