The year is 2055, more than thirty years after the events of Zero Hour, Earth suffers a catastrophic collision with meteorites. The world is thrown into turmoil as large swathes of land are annihilated. Four factions, the ADF (Asian Democratic Federation), WEA (West European Alliance), WLF (World Liberation Front), and AC (American Confederacy) are at war for control of the remaining already harder to find resources as well as the preservation of their nations and geopolitical interests. Infact its the elevator, it comes out of the ground, pops out your vehicle, then goes back into the ground

How does the Atlas fit in that? O.o

Surprisingly it DOES fit. We modelled and scaled the Pit of Steel to a size where it can build any AC ground unit. Even the Atlas fits.

(Although it is a close fit for the Atlas.

Nice idea. I've never seen it done in Generals before. Does this mean it gets more armor than regular war factories?

Not really. However, the idea is quite unique, as Generals' means of creating units is a simple spawn mechanic, thus you can't pull off paradrops and whatnot on War Factories nor elevator systems, but we've managed to get around that ;)

Well paradrops, while still only either a spawn made by the building itself or an additional unit, look quite good ^^
