The year is 2055, more than thirty years after the events of Zero Hour, Earth suffers a catastrophic collision with meteorites. The world is thrown into turmoil as large swathes of land are annihilated. Four factions, the ADF (Asian Democratic Federation), WEA (West European Alliance), WLF (World Liberation Front), and AC (American Confederacy) are at war for control of the remaining already harder to find resources as well as the preservation of their nations and geopolitical interests. Meanwhile, the UAN has also developed a new assault chopper, designated the Black Cobra, to replace its Mi-28 Havoc fleet. This new model is both smaller and lighter than the previous attack chopper owing this to its Kamov sourced coaxial rotors and granting it amazing maneuverability. This doesn't mean however that the Black Cobra is less adept at wreaking havoc over the battlefield. Its twin autocannons will make short work of infantry battalions while its napalm rocket pods provide a versatile weapon against many targets including sturctures. Pilots are advised to fire in short barrages to conserve ammunition and remain more accurate but alpha strikes have been reported in the field. Overall, the Black Cobra provides both greater firepower than the WEA Viper and greater mobility than the AC Sioux, resulting in a Jack of all Trades gunship and has proven to be the backbone of rapid strike UAN missions.

There are some resemblances, but in-game it functions very differently to the Sioux.

Of course I ment visual style, not functions, I just couldn't help, that oval shape of the front part of the heli from this PoV and big rotors... Still, not saying that I don't like it.:)

cool, I like it, I'm assuming by the lack of a tail rotor it has some kind of anti-torque, by the looks of it a counter rotating rotor balde?
Yes i designed this based on a russian prototype choper and it has dual rotors to compensate the lack of a tail one.
From the Viper lore - The Viper is equipped with a dual photon burst cannon, AA pods and 6 Proton missiles for anti-ground support.
