Unique Characters and Abilities
Consisting of both Slayers and Vampires, the mod will have a unique variety among not only both teams, but individual characters as well. Each team is class based, and each class has their own features and weapons to follow the look and style. The Slayer team must use tactics and long-range weapons to take down vampires. The vampire team on the other hand is more likely to take a sneaky and well-planned approach. Each vampire class will have their own ability to use and give them the upper hand in certain combat situations. Although starting with certain perks, players are expected to develop their own style of play that suits them the best.
Dynamic Environments
The mod will consist of a variety of environments for players to play on. That being said, each environment will have dynamic features that the player can take advantage of, to give them the upper hand in battle. For example, making their way to the map's generator room and supplying the map with good lighting will give a small group of Slayers an advantage over their threats.
Bloody Finishing
A main feature in the mod is the ability to stake vampires. Upon being hit enough, a vampire will drop to the ground in an unconcious-like state. At which point, a Slayer must pull out his/her stake and stab the vampire in the heart to complete the kill. A system like this makes for a lot of unique and hilarious moments, between knock-downs and running for that bloody finish.
We'd like to take advantage of the OrangeBox engine's lighting. Things like motion blur and dynamic lighting can be used to improve the scary atmosphere and realistic game play we have planned for the mod. Similarly, we believe that its new lighting will allow vampires to have the choice of either playing a fast-leaping style of game play, or a sneaky and silent style.

Hello Dead of Night community!
The mod's development has been going great. Much has been happening in regards to media, including both 3d and concept.
Now that the balls in full motion, we'd love to hear what the community has to offer for the character and weapon load outs of the mod.
That being said, we're giving the community (you) the opportunity to post a class you'd like to see in the mod. However, don't just give us a name.. gives us EVERYTHING you can think of about the character you submit. (see below for a list of information you should include).
There's no limit, submit as many separate characters as you'd like (post each in it's own thread)
