Days of Armageddon is based on Britain in the aftermath of nuclear war. The player,Mr Ian Davidson is the country's nuclear defence administrator,working in the Ministry of Defence. Due to rising global tensions largely due to a british based terrorist group's activities around the world,nuclear war has become imminent. Because of this,the Prime Minister orders a nuclear test be carried out,the game starts with the player arriving at work on the day of the test. A tangled web of deceit,sabotage,corruption,double dealing and bribary becomes evident to the player as he fights his way from one end of the country to the other,only successfully completing his mission when he fires the last few missiles britain has to save the nation from total destruction.
