Dark Interval is a restoration/revision mod that lets you play Half-Life 2 as it could have been. Using Valve's early concepts, we're creating new maps, models, textures, and custom dialogue. The mod is released in episodes, the most recent being Dark Interval: Part I - an intro chapter to the bigger story.
No cubemaps, HDR or tiny-scale detail, just the foundation.
Work time: 8 days.
Just like the other image, the lighting seems pretty non-existent almost. I'd like to see some more variety in the colors and sources. Maybe add a spotlight to the tower on the right that's a bit blue? Maybe one of these back doors could have a red cage light? Then having some windows lit up with a nice, yellowed glow could help as well. Overall the space looks good, but the lighting just seems pretty boring to me. These are all just suggestions, of course. Doing all of them would result in a lighting scheme that feels forced and odd.
