CSS SCI FI 3: Hardwired is a single-player mod for Source featuring 42 unique, goal-driven missions set in forests, farms, factories and islands. CSS SCI FI includes an interactive mission hub and full configuration utility which players can use to enable different styles of gameplay. Missions are goal-oriented and non-linear, meaning that each can be played and replayed using many different options and tactics.

Description
CSS SCI FI 3: Hardwired is a modification for Source featuring 42 non-linear, goal-oriented single-player missions. This file is the complete installer for the final version and includes support for 64bit systems. Please note: this mod requires Counter-Strike: Source. For further information please see the mod profile page.
Changes:
- Support for 64 bit systems and non-standard Steam locations.
- Now runs on the Source SDK Base, meaning that only Counter-Strike: Source is required.
- UAC support for Windows Vista and 7.
- Streamlined configuration utility.
- Updates to the translations .csv (get this version if working on a translation).
- Faster loading times and minor bug fixes.

Barring anything unforseen, this is the final version of the mod. Changes include the following:
-Support for 64 bit systems and non-standard Steam locations.
-Now runs on the Source SDK base, meaning that only Counter-Strike: Source is required.
-UAC support for Windows Vista.
-Streamlined Configuration Utility.
-Updates to the translations csv (get this version if working on a translation).
-Faster loading times and minor bug fixes.

It won't work for me. I have tried 2 different mirrors, and they both gave me some format error when I went to extract.
The file I uploaded matches the MD5 hash posted above and works perfectly, so there must be something wrong with the Moddb mirrors. Their contact form is currently broken, so use the torrent download here:
Gameupdates.org if you encounter any errors with the Moddb download above.
I'd prefer not to use a torrent, and I loved your original CSS SCI FI. I'll be sure to try this out once this MODDB issue gets solved.

I have checked the Moddb mirrors and cannot find a problem
Moddb Server #4 - OK

They are all serving exactly the same file and it is identical to the one I uploaded (MD5 verified). Should be no problems.

Thank you fitzroy, I DL'ed it last night with no problems.
I must say that you have done a GREAT job improving the mod. I love how the difficulty ramps up in the campaigns, and it gives you some time to get used to the gameplay. I encounted only 2 crashes during the 6 maps I played so far (will finish the first campaign today). The mission hub room was a brilliant idea, I'm glad you implemented it. The mission briefings give the player a sense of direction and story that was much needed. The gameplay difficulty is perfect for every gamer, and always brings a needed challenge. Hostages respond to commands well, and the game is overall balanced in mission variety and scope. I'm looking forward to any future releases from you.

Yes, it's been tested on Vista, with and without UAC active.
Its looking awesome - anyone tell me why the downloads are so slow? (30 KB/Sec !!)

nop, it stills downloading wrong, it just stops at 99 percent!!!

After downloading and installing the full version of the mod above, all users should then download and install the patch, which prevents two minor issues which may occur in the game. Get the patch here: Moddb.com
