Oversize fuselage, ridiculously small wings and peculiarly small and high mounted vertical stabilizers?

I'm sorry but this plane will probably will never fly in the first place and even if it dose there is no way it can perform low level strike missions as the plane will be far to unstable in low speed not to mention it's going to be nightmare to keep it flying in any case.

I recommend a major design revision

So since it's a game it can filled with no sense making ******** looking planes? That card can be pulled when the game is futurist-era but in a WW2-era scenario that just ruins the game/mod completely!

Most people hates cartoony units, period. And that thing looks like it's from a Miki mouse show.

This game IS in a futurist-era. Fifty years of war can create some big innovations you know. I Dislike cartoony units, but I noticed nothing wrong with this. You can't please everyone.

Read the mod description again. There is no mention of a WW2 setting. The lore does go back to that era but the player does not play in that era. Besides, I'm not an aircraft designer or major enthusiast (maybe such as yourself). If you have a better design, feel free to send me a PM.

So make a better plane yourself, modelling and everything. These people work fvcking free and do this kind of stuff and you don't even bother to read the story or anything. Be grateful, you *****.

Realistic Command&Conquer?...lol.. haven't seen one of those yet...a few realistic mods for C&C but those are normally based on past events or possible outcomes of past events.

Nanchang F-8 (CNK-8) “Bloodhound”: Developed to meet a 1978 PLAF requirement for a light ground attack plane with STOL capabilities, the Nanchang F-8 was first flown in July 18, 1981, but was rejected due to lack of STOL capabilities and excessive vibrations, which resulted in poor handling in flight. The aircraft was subsequently completely redesigned; with two H-4 engines driving a contra-rotating propeller system and the wings was shortened and widen in order to increase STOL capabilities. This redesigned prototype first flew on August 8, 1983. It was deemed by the PLAF to be successful at the time to be ordered into production, with the first units introduced in October 20, 1984. It soon became apparent that the armament of the plane, 2 23mm cannons and 250kg bomb-load, was woefully inadequate, especially in the face of its operating costs (due to the complexity of the contra-rotating propeller system). In 1989, the Nanchang F-8 was withdrawn from all PLAF units. Ironically, the Nanchang F-8 was a success on the export market, and hundreds of them were exported to various countries in South America and Africa under the name of CKN-8 "Bloodhound".

Description

The CKN-8 "Bloodhound" is a dedicated strike aircraft that is equipped with two large cannons which can pose a serious threat to enemy armour. It is also capable of being equipped with bombs for extra firepower against hardened structures. It features a large wing section that allows it to be very maneuverable at low speed and contra-rotating propellors for acceleration at low altitudes. The aircraft also features an armoured internal structure allowing it to sustain large amounts of damage from anti-aircraft weapons. However, its low speed and lack of suitable air-to-air weapons means that it can fall victim to fighter aircraft.
