Greetings, we have been busy so we are still pending to finish the second & third video for Ostheer; so we decided to post some models we have finished.
This is our Panzerwerfer 42 auf Maultier, I find nothing much to say about it ;)... Model by BurroDiablo(Chassis) and Halftrack(tracks), animation by Walki and Tankdestroyer.
Thanks to Halftrack and Tankdestroyer for helping us with this :).
I'm opening up a bottle just to celebrate this newsfeed.

Yes, it rotates ;).
The animation of the Panzerwerfer will be far more detailed than relic did it with the Nebels. Far better than the rotating turret are the rockets leaving their tubes ;)
Yes, we even made the rockets sticking in the back of the tubes disappear after every shot. As you may see it also creates dust puffs on the ground after every shot.
A mg will stand on Panzerwerfer 42??tekstur class))
No there won't be a MG. I don't think a guy would survive a rocket barrage sitting on top of it. The steam coming out of the barrels would just kill him :/.
You could try to make it work in 2 modes:
1) Transport mode - mobile, a guy mans the MG
2) Artillery mode - the guy gets inside the truck, the truck becomes immobile locking in one place and is able to fire the missle salvo.
Just a suggestion though =) Keep up the good work!
I think they want to keep it the way it is, no self defense, for balance issues.
battle of the bulge mod has panzerwerfer with MG and when you shoot the guy get's inside first ;)

Yes, but as they operated behind the frontline they were never mounted nor used.

Ah, this is the new German Leowerfer, after Goverment decided to reduce the Menpower of german Army ,they found a new use for surplus Leopard tanks, thx to show us this terrible new Weapon
Not quite right, as Panzer doesn't translate to Tank. Panzerwerfer would more accurately translate to Armoured Launcher, which is quite accurate, however even that isn't translating it literally.
No need to translate a personal name like Panzerwerfer. We didn't try to translate Sherman or Pershing, or?
Well it was called the Panzerwerfer 42 "Maultier" because the hull was an Maultier truck i guess :p?

No it was on an Opel truck that was called Maultier when equipped with Tracks instead the Back wheeland axle, the term Maultier was used for all halftrack Trucks like Mercedes( the biggest) or Ford
Ehh have you added a new animation for this or just used the calliope animation? (i'll be sad if it's the latter ;_;)
It's 75% custom and 25% calliope :P.
Uhh so you have taken it but altered in the style that the Pwerfer should be and appear to be firing....very nice :)
Uhh I didn't know where to put this but when I try to update (I have 1.60.0 pretty sure) it says eastern front is not installed.....please help. :)

nice work but the error is in reality as Blitzkrieg Mod.Dufam that after that time to really Integrate realne pak38 shot down bags IS-2 tanks, or kv 85.Ak add realism so it will be 2, the best mod for this great strategy.

Im sure for 99.99% that EF devs wont change the damage system, because its focused on balanced gameplay.
