Really cool although I personally think the texture could use a bit of improvement, seems a little blurry but I'm sure that's not exactly the biggest concern atm, anyways great idea, great implementation and just overall great :P

Doesn't the model align with the surface? It looks like the sandbags in the background do have this ability. Nice feature, by the way!

the sanbags in the pic are map props, the map artist can align them however he want.

can't you use the code that makes the vehicles align with the ground to make the various buildings and defenses do the same?

can you make this feature with building ruins ,i know its very hard cuz i 'v tried to make it ,but you guys have skills and time more than me
what i meant by building ruins that after the building is destroyed the ruins of the building stays and the soldiers can garrison in it
this just an idea,anyway those holes are cool

@Baathist
Maybe it can be done, but I don't know too much about it. In order to accomplish your suggestion, I think we would need to add new markers to the buildings.

My personal suggestion for these would be to line the hole with sandbags and just let the whole in the actual terrain do much of the work.

Description

Greetings, we have been busy so we are still pending to finish the second & third video for Ostheer; so we decided to post some models we have finished.

A simple but effective "structure", a hole in the ground will provide Ostheer soldiers good cover, although Commonwealth trenches are better. Only five soldiers(up to two squads) can be garrisoned; foxholes are granted by the Fortress Army Tree. Model and animations by Walki.
