The chronicles of Azeroth include the remake of the three original Warcraft game (orcs and humans, Tides of Darkness+Beyond the Dark Portal, Reign of Chaos+Frozen Throne) and new ones based on wow lore (vanilla-Temple of Ahn'qiraj, Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm + maybe future wow expansion) with campaign and multiplayer melee gameplay.

Work Work

We steadily update our mod to reach our goal: to have the best Warcraft 1 and Warcraft 2 experience in Starcraft 2. Also we released our mods to the Na server too so you don't have to change to the European server to enjoy our mod. To further boost the community and reach you easier we also created a facebook page which will greatly enhance your knowledge on our mod including the latest news, map pool, unit information etc. So lets have a look on the new things

New Warcraft 2 patch with Repair Build, Warcraft 1 patch and NA releases

The newest patch for Warcraft 2 include the worker ability called Repair Build. Once you started a construction, order other workers to repair build it by right clicking on it. It will make the construction faster but it costs additional resources (1 gold and 1 lumber /worker/sec). The more worker you order to repair build the faster and more expensive the construction will be.

Full patch notes:


-Repair Build Added, you can right click on structures under construction with workers to make construction faster for additional resources
- Wall cost, build time and hp adjusted to the original
- Scout and Watch towers no more require Lumber Mill
- Rune blink periodically
- Invisibility won't create cloak distortion effect that busted invisible units to enemy
- Invisibility will be properly removed if a caster use a spell
- Unholy Armor, Flame Shield and Invisibility can target friendly and enemy units too.

- invisibility will be properly removed if a unit cast spell
- Minor summoning reworked in classic gameplay mode to cast between 1-4 units depends on caster's mana
- Wall placement model changed

It is stated in every article: You can find all of our maps with the latest patch on the European and North American servers of Starcraft 2 Arcade. Search for Coa in the Arcade menu point of Starcraft 2.

I've been a Warcraft fan since I got the original that started it all in 95. I simply can't wait to play this and it looks great! I would love to play the original Warcraft on an updated engine, thanks for your work

-unholy armor and invisibility cant be used at sappers;
-decay is not destroying any buildings;
-mage should not automatically attack when invisible;

Some additional things:

-enable build walls (very helpful for humans - i think it is not very easy to you guys to create it.. but.. we love walls);
-I didn't test again, but a I guess paladins are stop attacking when heal is zero mana (they simply stop attacking, in the middle of the battle - I have to quickly disable auto heal to keep the attack, if no they die);
-The new map is very good but has one problem: Player that is in the bottom can be attacked by blizzard (in the middle gold mine) from upper player. This wont happen with upper player;
-Please check if fireball is giving too much damage (it's hitting about 300, i guess it was about 100 damage to buildings);
-sugestion: bloodlust could be automatic when ally unit is attacking, not when it is under attack; The same could the assumed to "haste". Think about it (or remove auto speel of "slow", to keep it balanced);
- Suggestion: I guess you guys intentionally has created dark peninsula with 3 islands. Change for 4 islands, just to make it fair. No one can complain when lose the game.
-flame shield can be cast at enemies;
-Runes blink about every 15 seconds so that you can see them.
-Increase the size of orc's guard tower and cannon tower (or decrease size of watch tower). The orc's cannon tower is not attacking nearby units ( I dont remember it at original game);

I don't remember anything else except this. The game is perfect. Powers, ships, the game engine, congratulations! amazing! you´re doing a 35 years boy happy again. I used to play it 20 years ago with my old brother and friends and now i'm doing it again! I´ve been searching for some map like this for years.

-added walls. You will need to hold shift to place multiple ones thou
-Paladins aren't stopping attack anymore as far as i know
-Moved the top gold mine closer to the rocks, so now you can target it with blizzard if you are positioning it good
-Cannon Towers can not attack enemies standing too close to them, just like Catapults
-Dark Peninsula is a remake of an original Warcraft 2 map so i don't want to change it. The one position without island has its third mine behind trees. Warcraft 2 maps were mostly asymmetrical.
- I changed slightly the size of guard tower

Other stuff you mentioned: i will look into later. Also i'm happy you are enjoying our mod. :) Pls join or in game group, Chronicles of Azeroth official.

congratulations, Im a wc2 eternal fan,
I am thrilled ;)

Things that you can fix in next update:

-there is no limit of peasants inside de goldmine. Its different of Wc3;
-chance the model of guard tower and cannon tower when upgraded;
-allow build walls;
-unholy armor cant be used at sappers;
-i think that farm increase 4 at food;
-is the submarine invisible?
-nothing can se de invisility cast by mages;
-you can cast slow and other speels in your army;
-sometimes the basic menu of peasants dont appear;
-decay is not destroying ally buildings;

Im waiting for it! Congratulation again!

Thank you for trying out our mod and the compliments :). I will look into the things you mentioned. However I can answer to these points already:
- Farm gives 4 food in the classic mode, in the modern gameplay mode we added extra food to the farms.
-submarines/turtles are invisible already, only detectors can see enemy ones.
-You could cast on enemy and friendly units some spells like slow in the original game but i found it problematic so changed it.
-"sometimes the basic menu of peasants dont appear" If you encounter with this you probably enabled simple command card (or the game reset your option about it). Turn off simple command card in the menu.
