C&C: ShockWave is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour. The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.

Sort of, yes it does make an earthquake, however, it does no damage. It does make all units in a certain radius unable to fire or use special abilities, making them perfect targets for the Pheoix Bomber.

well that's what's annoying me when it comes to using this thing. i tried to test fire it at my own base to see what it can do. it froze everything! including my defense grid!
its like Earth Shaker but its doesnt damage anything...such as structures and enemy units....

You wouldn't need a line, this thing disables everything on screen on the ground if it were in the center of your screen. The only way to counter it is air power, or stopping it before it deploys. (it's completelydefenseless otherwise).

It very good for sieging. I am sure it powers down buildings. I haven't used them for a while.
i used this tank and Tos-1 buratino. that's why buratino can fire that ground fire and anvil is a firing the weapon!

Set up a Hammer cannon firing earthquake shells at a specific point, then move one of these babies next to it, and turn it on. Have two KA-50s with Assault guns provide cover against long ranged units like the rocket buggy and Scud, and the Hammer Cannon disables AA. Everything else gets caught in the Anvil's blast, and the KA-50s chew them up.
eh it would be better if it at least had a top mounted MG for infantry its to hard to protect when you are on 4v4 maps.

wow majorly annoying that the rocket buggies range is about 3cm longer than the anvils earthquake radius...
its because they actually gave a chance for buggies to survive :D

I was playing a day about three weeks ago.. and I was Special Weapons General. I played against hard opponent Tanks. I built 15 of these and surrounded his base with Earthquakes. Since AI focus on destroying enemy units before they attack the enemy base they got trapped for about half-an hour. He also doesn't have artillery wich makes it even more impossible for him to get out. After I set up my Anvils I EARTHSHAKED HIS ***! HAHAHA!!!
I've noticed the Umbrella Sign on the anvil.
I wonder what happens if you send a bunch of these on the enemy base and then activate all of them?
