The main aim of this mod is to bring the characters of Meridian closer to their concept art design and restore cut content which includes elements from prototype versions of the game along with the restoration of in-game dialogue.

Hey i love the mod so far! I have an issue tho that the Settings file never got created on my Desktop and i cant manage to run the settings file in the main folder it just opens Notepad with unreadable things in it. i was able to sometimes change settings ingame and restarting making the game say that there are new settings and that i need to set my options again in CE settings. but that only works 10% of the time so its really hard for me to play around with the Designs :(

- Create a new shortcut from the one you have on Desktop
- Select Properties and add the following argument at the end of the "Target" section: -setup (make sure to add a space as well)
- Hit Apply / Ok and now you should be able to get the configuration dialogue when you launch the new shortcut

Incredible work you got there! I'm ambivalent to be able to play the game with a higher resolution and with so many quality of life improvements.

I'm just having one issue, how do you turn off the cheat mode? I tried testing it on a save file I had, and after quitting the game and loading it back up it still has the cheats enabled. Even jumping into a new game still has cheats enabled. Lemme know what I can do to disable it.

When it comes to save files which were written while the Cheat Mode was used, the game will always load with it running.

As for starting new games, I don't remember if the game retains the memory address loaded from the save file. Either way, try quitting the game (close the app) and start a New Game without loading any saves.

Hi! Loving the mod thus far, but I am a bit confused about changing Kain's attire. When I go into the CE options, I can see a drop down menu for the cheat attire and an Outfit set up one. I tried messing around with th former (still in the slums) but besides the Dark Menu icons I do not see any difference in what Kain's wearing, and tbh I'm also confused at to what most of the options actually mean (Conquest, Resistance, etc). Apologies in advance for the stupid question.

Hi.

For the first 3 chapters, Kain will always wear his basic attire no matter the outfit option you selected.

Within the mod's package, you will find a text file named "Player Setup - Features and Instructions" which tells you what Kain will wear during specific chapters, based on which outfit option you selected.

Example:

- Armored Shoulder [ Chapters 01 - 03 ]
- Golden Pads [ Chapters 04 - 06 ]
- Red Hood [ Chapters 07 - 09 ]
- Spike Armor [ Chapters 10 - 11 ]
=======================================

As for the cheat mode option, based on what attire you selected - once you press Block, Autoface, Dark Gift Menu, Action, Use Dark Gift, Bloodsuck while in the game's Main Menu and you hear Kain saying "Go Cheese!" - you will play the game with the Soul Reaver and the specific costume you chose.

Any saved game file will stay with the cheat mode imbeded into it. The only way is to start a fresh new game.
