The main aim of this mod is to bring the characters of Meridian closer to their concept art design, in some cases giving them a darker and more eerie tone.

  • The Dark Gift color scheme has been modified for a more assorted design

wow, an actual mod for Bo2? And I've missed it for this long? Bo2 might not be the most respected LoK game, but it has it's own unique charm and since it was my first game in the series it's very easy for me to divorce it from the rest. Great game imo, I'd love to see more mods someday.

Is editing the levels at all possible at this point? Opening the .big files in text editor implies some form of readable structure, but I have no idea where to start to unravel it.

Some bits can be edited, such as removing items, triggers, even cutscenes. If you wish to do some unravelling, I recommend using SoulSpiral. It shows the individual files and it will be easier to hex them afterwards. For level engineering you can look over the .region files.
