I personally like the design & it's a leap forward from Petroglyph's model. The abilities seem like they would be a boost to the Rebellion

I think that this one is perfect for the rebellion era, but I also think you should keep the old model for a more heavily armed and armored variant.

If it's a predecessor to the AAC, will it still be unlocked once you reach New Republic tech?

Seems kind of redundant to unlock both at the same time.

No the T2B will now be a Rebellion era unit. AAC-1 will still be a Rebellion unit as well. There are other ground units planned for the NR to replace it.

i'd like to see the hunt-ability, it is just annoying as hell if you need to guide your tanks through the whole map to find one missing platoon

Hunt is on all the T-B series tanks, including this one.

These changes will basically turn it into the AAC. So are you going to use the AAC as the new medium tank of the NR, or you have some kind of a replacement?

The model itself looks good but it just doesnt feel like its an T2B to me. It feels more like its an variant of T1B instead of an actualy diffrent vehicle. Perhaps if you added more side armour it would feel more like an T2B.

And the T2B doesn't feel T#B-ish. I am planning on trying to kitbash more parts of the T2B to the body though.

Description

Sly and I are not a fan of the Petroglyph T2B design, we feel that it strays too far off from the other T-series tanks. But that doesn't mean we don't like some aspects of it. Here is our T2B, which will now be the final upgrade of the T1B series tanks.

This hovertank is no joke. Shields, Enlarged Missile Tubes and Targeting Sensors that not only fire at air targets but can also be calibrated to barrage ground targets, and a Quad Laser Cannon inspired by Incom X-Wing technology to keep a constant stream of fire on the enemy with 4 alternating barrels. Since this is a modification to the T-series frame, it still is not a dedicated assault vehicle. However, its success on the battlefield is the inspiration and predecessor of the AAC-1 Hovertank.

What are your thoughts on removing the default T2B? How about the abilities and weapons? Nothing is set in stone. Opinions and Suggestion always welcome.
