I stop playing the mod and straight out uninstalled it where you had to rescue Ghost.

First of all, the translation seems incomplete, there's like a number of things that are still gibberish to me like Judah's lost money text, or Solomon's meds, among other things.

The PDA is broken for me, it looks small and it stretches out, perhaps because i changed the graphical settings?
I put it to Objects lighting along with Minimum quality settings incase of performance issues.
I also removed ENB and SweetFX because it pretty much put my computer at a snail's pace.

There seems to be a lil' too much fetch quests at the start of the mod :

- First is with Forester, bunch of mandrakes and then the ration box,
- Then the dog tails in the Dead City for the guide,
- And then the manuscripts from Mervin,
- Pretty much all optional quests that i got to where i stopped.

I'm guessing that it gets better later on?

Then the first thing done to you by Mervin is telling you to kill Snorks without anything but an Upgraded Colt with 40 rounds, that would have been fine if not for the bloodsuckers + other groups of snorks + chimeras that swarm the area the moment i fire a shot, even after killing 8 or more snorks wasting all my ammo firing the constantly moving semprinis, the objective didn't register because i probably only killed one or two from the actual group and the others separate, leaving me with the knife fighting the jumpy chimeras/bloodsuckers and a search through all of Pripyat searching for those runaways, knife fighting them in hope that the others don't jump and bleed me because that's pretty much game over, saving and loading again and again and again, trying both daytime and night to do the mission, searching through those small blue boxes to find a mere medkit or bandage that didn't help at all since AA2 makes you defenseless when you use an item.

It's not fun. It's annoying. It's frustrating.

Another thing is the damage made by gun toting enemies to you, i know that the original AA2 is unforgiving enough about it's damage system to you, but here, it feels like even the most basic of firearms can one hit kill you, AND I'M WEARING AN EXOSKELETON FOR GOD'S SAKE!

This frustrates me because Mervin is the biggest arse in all the lands who teleports me between a number of enemies wearing the most dangerous equipments, i had to manual save and load constantly, remembering where they stand, and be quick to shoot them, making the save and load game an actual game mechanic to survive in the mod instead of a way to save progress in case of IRL stuff.

Also, Mervin's last manuscript is apparently on the edge of the Pripyat map where you can see all of the untextured faces and practically noclip over to the end of the map beyond, is this intentional?

I searched Solomon's stuff, i found the meds, but couldn't find the food, even the guide didn't help, searched the Gastronom building next to the ferris wheel and couldn't find anything, is this yet again some kind of glitch?

Radiation never disappears, i'm wearing Fireball in ALL of my belt slots, and it just doesn't go away, using rad pills is hopeless since it decreases your health and still doesn't remove the radiation to the point where i ask why do i even bother using the pointless thing in the first place, science medpack also didn't help at all.

I had to apparently wait about an hour before the yellow rad thing turns to green, this can be troublesome, i don't remember original AA2 having these issues.

The screen blurs once, thought it was a glitch or something until i realize i had to sleep, of course, the mod didn't at any point tell me so i pretty much had to finish some of the mission with the very annoying blur over my head until i finally searched the net for the issue.

I pretty much just stop when i had to rescue Ghost, all of the enemies one hit kill either me or Ghost, failing the mission, CONSTANTLY.

Even the night didn't help because apparently they have night vision or something.

Is there like a balancing mod to this mod? Because this is straight out unfair and not at all fun, i am really curious about the story and was pretty surprised when i found out that i joined Monolith just to find my good ol' bro.

But i can't move on if the mod continues to push me over the edge and make me coming this close to smashing my monitor with my fist everytime i play.

true true ... very bad design . very unfair , bandit rapes you even though you have exo ... also the endless searching of things , or , don't do that before that or else that won't be able to happen bla bla ... and the items you sell or lose or NPC bastards loot out of your stash , will be needed later in game and you are screwed . most broken tasks are regarding ghost .. oh boy . people , don't play this game unless you have tons of nerves and a trainer for infinite health , because sometimes it just isn't possible without it . i am supposed to save ghost from mercs , yet he is shooting me alongside them . how nice . also , ghost dies every now and then and you have to reload the game because you need him for tasks ... then the second most broken thing is , you are supposed to get scientific merc suit for Lefty stalker , and that is suit is nowhere ! i am reading from some guide you need to save in bar and buy it off Borov trader until he gets it in his inventory . which doesn't happen for ages now and i think this is where i quit ... radiation is ever present and you can't get rid off it , also , taking anti rads lowers your health by some fraction as well , and doesn't help . just wait till you get to Radar , you are royally scrwed . and then there are burers who keep throwing things around , making you unable to find them and progress and so on and so on ... this mod was fun to me and I spent a lot of hours because i am a stupid stubborn bastard but I think this has no sense now ...

The Autumn Aurora 2 mod in itself is amazing, the texture work, overall art direction etc., it's the best overhaul mod of ShoC, no contest. However, Secret Trails 2 is very frustrating. I got to Pripyat (which me took MANY hours), and in addition to several frustrating mod design choices, the overall quests are just boring to me. Having already played through these levels several times before (in stock game or other mods), makes all these fetching quests dull and annoying. :( Also, the radiation icon is stuck, and the map location indicator for the player disappeared, which really makes the gameplay long and tedius because of added searching/trial and error. Maybe other people will enjoy ST2, but it was not for me.
