Modification for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.- Shadow of Chernobyl which brings pure, desolate autumn to the Zone. Complete graphic/audio/gameplay overhaul.

*Partly cloudy cycle
*Cloudy cycle
*Rainy cycle
*Stormy cycle
*Foggy cycle
*Very foggy cycle
As you can see I made only demonstration of four main day times(morning, afternoon, evening, night) of each cycle. I recommend to watch it in dark room, of course in HD and on fullscreen to see level of lighting in nights. The most bright night is in Clear cycle. Next cycles(Partly, Foggy, Cloudy, Rainy, Very Foggy, Stormy) has decreased brightness- as in real life. Each cycle and day time has own ambient sounds section.
Wow. Now I'm really impressed. This mod is maxing out the atmosphere of Stalker to the limit.
I liked the Cloudy/Rainy and normal fog cycle best. Music fits perfectly. Awesome work!
You have to remember, that I showed only a ONE hour of each cycle. Each hour has different sky textures and lighting(sometimes is warmer, sometimes is colder. For example- Clear cycle screen comes from about 7:00- 8:00 when lighting is warmer, but later is much colder. And of course they aren't shown sun textures/gradients will makes a really nice atmosphere) so I think that you'll create your own opinion when you'll playing in AA2. BUT I understand your first impression.
I hope so, actually I am not judging from teasers. But that what you just showed really impressed me, this will be a must-have-played I think. Like AA1^^
The "weather" is in my opinion the most important thing of visual modding in SOC and this weather mod has got to be one of the best, if not the best, I've seen for this game yet. I can't wait to use this in any mod that I play.
Yes, it's really important because Shaders + lighting in weather system(balance between hemisphere light and shadows) + good, balanced settings in user.ltx can really makes miracles.
How about posting suggested user.ltx settings when you do upload for noobs like me, please.

My only comment is that if there's any way to make the leaves stop blowing for the foggy/very foggy weather, you should do it. Other than that, no even with that, this is the single greatest weather system in STALKER i have ever seen.
I'm not sure but I'm afraid that blowing leaves are encoded in X-Ray. There is possible a modification of particles too, but I really doubt that is possible disabling particles for some weather cycle. It would be breakneck task. By the way, I think that this effect really fits to these cycles. Since I remember foggy and windy autumn, the leaves were always danced besides me. :-)

Very cool presentation. A good weather implementation in SoC raises the good atmosphere of STALKER to a even more enjoyable felling. In this point I´m agree with loner85 and Kocayine.

looks great except for very foggy, it's too much, you won't be able to see the enemies, but they will be able to see you. isn't that right?
Maybe there is any solution to balance it, I need to talk with some scripters.
Really like the weather system you have here. Its been a while since Ive seen such great weather in stalker. Awesome work. Especially the foggy cycle....so much atmosphere ! Hope to see more videos
