Okay :D Autumn Aurora 2 will be number one mod on my list for ever. It was from the day I started playing it.

Is it possible to disable minimap and keep detector functionality?

Of course, I edited FAQ where you can find point with No-Minimap question. Personally I'm always playing without minimap.

From what it seems the hand model is default for this gun. Same as on r_pops video. Will these guns have suit dependent hands?

Yes. All new weapons/animations has suit dependent hands. As always. I had stalker suit when I made this screenshot.

That'll all be compatible with Secret Trails I hope, haven't tried it out, but combined these two things look very promising for being my next adventure in the zone :D

"underground blowouts" - 0_0 I don't think I have ever heard of those...

"harder gameplay in the beginning of the game" - LMAO, it was already very hard.

"some various fixes" - Does this include a fix for the FAL ironsight depth of field issue in ENB? The Cobra one was fixed with the minor update and FAL with scope works fine.
Also there is still the occasional (amusing) issue of NPCs spawning onto and dying at camp fires, and uncommon issue of weapons disappearing when equipped. I will make a short video of the latter to demonstrate.

True, he shouldn't try to go for hard gameplay, he should go for realistic gameplay.
STALKER vanilla with its overhealthed Bandits was already at least a pain :D It was just the economics that made the game rather easy, and as soon as you got yourself a nice protective gear, SEVA suit for example, you were more or less immortal :D

A foe that dies as fast as you would (depending on body protection) is fair and realistic.

That's why we removed all the things which makes your gameplay so easy on the beginning. Mercenary suit in the box? - Not anymore. Too much ammo in the boxes? - Not anymore. Later (garbage/agroprom) you shouldn't have any problems (I don't had them and I'm pretty lame gamer). We changed these things only at Cordon (and we removed ammo-rain on the Garbage from the boxes on the tower. That was ridicolous, but funny). I think that now it's more realistic than earlier, really. Without "cheats" on the Cordon, you're a true newbie. But later it's better. You will see.

Here you are, my equipment from the Agroprom. As you can see, the balance it's the same as in 2.04. You have everything in necessary amount. Not too low, not too much.

Brother, I didn't criticize anything about the way you made it harder than usual, I just wanted to remind you to stay on the path of making gameplay realistic and not ridiculously harsh.

Your mod is actually well-balanced, and that means realism.

Mate, don't worry, I know about your good intention. :-) We've only edited some things in Cordon which made gameplay much easier and some people write about it some time ago. After Cordon everything it's the same as always (I mean 2.04 version). Don't worry, I'm staying on this path. Everything it's ready and I won't edit anything.

Don't be afraid. :-) I mean that we removed for example mercenary suit from the box on the beginning, we changed rewards for the tasks etc. (Mamma Beads for killing few fleshes? A comedy. :-))

"Does this include a fix for the FAL ironsight depth of field issue in ENB?"

Yes, there is no problem with it now.

"Also there is still the occasional (amusing) issue of NPCs spawning onto and dying at camp fires,"

We couldn't find responsible AI lines in scripts, so unfortunatelly this funny issue still happens...

"and uncommon issue of weapons disappearing when equipped" - I can tell that it's not a bug. That's how scripts works. Sometimes (it's very, very rare) they're can't handle necessary operations and your weapon can dissapearing, but there is so easy fix for it - just load quicksave.

loner85 22hours 47mins ago replied:

Many, if not all script bugs are repaired by quicksave reloading :D

You just have to find out if it is a script malfunction or the script is just a complete bug by itself.

And AA2 runs smoother than any mod I played so far (sure, haven't played many completely-game-overhauling mods yet, I just modded the features I want into the game), even a bit more than Misery 2, so every small bug was actually fixed by quickloading so far.

Good to hear about the FAL fix.

Also positive for campfire deaths is the free guns :D

Quickload does indeed fix many issues!

I am interested to see what this underground blowout entails. If you are deep into Agroprom or some lab, that would make for tense situations if you need to sprint to the surface XD

I may be wrong but underground blowouts are probably just blowouts on the surface that you can feel and hear underground. You're not actually affected by them.
