You NEED to post installation tutorial. There are so many different DooM engines out there and versions.
Better is to just give a full zipped file with all you need so people don't have to think.

I think this is most complete and modernized Aliens (and Predator) themed Doom mod yet.

I've noticed you use the Pulse Rifle and Flame Thrower sprites from Aliens Online.

Do you have any plans to use the Smart Gun and Pistol sprites from Aliens Online as well?

The pistol sprite from Aliens Online looks just like the same pistol Gorman and Frost held in the movie. I think it was the Combat Pistol that had been used for Aliens Colonial Marines.

The current sprite you are using for the pistol is similar to, although not exact like the pistol that Vasquez had used.

What I meant was implementing different "weapon skins-sets" for the player's HUD and that we can then choose which version we want (E.G. Weapon skin sets ripped from Aliens Online, skin-sets ripped from Alien Trilogy, or some other Aliens game or a completely new done from scratch set of sprites for them).

But I think the Aliens Online's weapon sprites in the player's HUD look perfect fitting with Doom's old school retro style, but that's just me.

I mean I saw skins of weapons ripped from Alien Trilogy and I thought they were pretty good too. The pickup version of the weapon sprites in Alien Trilogy didn't look that good though.

Lastly, I would like to know if eventually we will get an item version of the Motion Tracker INSTEAD of the typical HUD versions that we had seen and used in Rebellion's AvP games and Alien Trilogy as they were all HUD-styled Motion Trackers? (I don't mean completely remove it, just the option for players to choose, Easy HUD Motion Tracker or a More Realistic Motion Tracker)

What I meant was a more realistic design of the motion tacker, such as like how it was implemented in Aliens Online and Aliens Colonial Marines.

You would have to bring up the Motion Tracker to be informed of possible enemy movement and switch back to your weapon prior to engaging enemies in combat.

Obviously this would increase the challenge and difficulty of the game but it becomes more realistic and would be ideal for co-op if it was ever implemented.

This mod is amazing,I can't believe there is a mod that is so faithful to the Alien franchise and remakes original Doom levels very well. But there is one huge problem for me... It's too bloody dark! I couldn't see anything throughout the entirety of Doom 1 and Doom 2, it makes it even worse that flares aren't a common item. But if look you past the darkness issues this mod is one of my top 3 mods along Project Brutality and Maps of Chaos.

You can bind the flash light in the controls options. Also, 9.2 has implemented flares and flarebox pick ups into the random item spawns. There will be a lot more laying around now.

Hey Great mod Love the feeling of being alone in the dark with something lurking the corner but quick question my flashlight and flares aren't lighting up when i use them And I hear them turning on but its not working for some reason

I'm happy you like the mod! As for the technical issues, perhaps it may need to be enabled within gzdoom's dynamic lighting options. I plan on compiling more tips for FAQs and set-up in the next release. Right now the instruction manual section is a bit basic.

Really impressive mod. Some feedback.
I've had some crashes blowing up barrels next to physics objects with gzdoom 2.1.1.
The spawns still seem a bit erratic to me. I'll go a few rooms without seeing anything then suddenly a group of 10+ aliens pop up.
Might want to consider a higher damage table to give it a more distinct aliens feel. A few well placed bullets should drop most aliens and likewise a few swipes from them should kill me.
Great work though I'm keen to see the final release.
