BETA 9.1 is here with some new features, as well some polishing. I have altered the enemy spawners to be a little more survival-horror-esqe.
This video demonstrates the editions to the next update. Notably, the spawning layout has been drastically changed to take advantage of the species-faction...
Here is a preview of a large map I am working on. Moreover, I have recolored 1,291 sprite frame, to change the color of the xenomorph's blood from green...
The celestial battle for survival returns now, with Aliens: The Ultimate Doom [BETA 8.0]!
The conflagration on LV-426 burns hotter than a supernova. Violence and chaos rock the infested moon base; turning it into a full-scale war-zone. Newly...

Really impressive mod. Some feedback.
I've had some crashes blowing up barrels next to physics objects with gzdoom 2.1.1.
The spawns still seem a bit erratic to me. I'll go a few rooms without seeing anything then suddenly a group of 10+ aliens pop up.
Might want to consider a higher damage table to give it a more distinct aliens feel. A few well placed bullets should drop most aliens and likewise a few swipes from them should kill me.
Great work though I'm keen to see the final release.
work whit zdoom?
I tried it with Heretic, the gargoyles scared the **** outta me.
This mod is incredible, the detail in the textures and the lighting is truly astounding. Not to mention that the gameplay is tight and intense.
So far I only have two small issues, one is the already mentioned physics objects. It's amazing you got objects to work so well in Doom, but I think you could definitely use a few more sounds for each type of object, as well as an option to turn the physics objects off in the menu. I personally don't mind the amount of props lying around, it's just the sound of clanking that I'm not a big fan of. So perhaps more options regarding prop sounds and physics in the menu could help with that issue?
Also, I was wondering how you got that particular hud in your videos and screenshots, the one that moves ammo and health to the very edges of the screen. I can't recall if that was a GZDoom setting or not and I'm having trouble finding it.
Other than that, everything else is awesome, keep up the great work!
Hi there, what's the best way of playing this online to coop with friends?
I'd just like to say that you're doing one hell of a job with this.
This mod is great but quite honestly without a map or set of maps to go with this it won't realize it's true potential. It just feels weird to play this with the kind of map design inherent in doom. Thankfully you seem to be working on that.
Great job, great mod with great potential. Randomizer is also a great feature that adds to replayability.
A few complains however: Debris/random background objects are nice and all but more than often there is simply too much **** on the floor. Maybe, tone it down a little?
Sound of said objects is really grating after few hours of gameplay. Gas canisters and such somewhat make sense having that noise but heavy crates and other things do not.
Looking forward to the new version, hope you'll deliver more.
Wow. GREAT job on this, right down to the footstep sound programming!!
