umm.. is there coop? :O

There is a coop version on Sven Coop

WAS, it dosent work right with Sven Coop 4. My friend figured out how to run them though, i want to know who ran the AoM:DC server though

The guy's name was Coccyx (the Gay Skeleton, which was seriously his name). I don't know how he did it, I just know that the server he ran crashed a lot of clients due to sound errors.

I have a friend that knows how to make a aomdc server with hamachi and play coop.But it was kinda glitchy

Coccxy or w/e has a fixed AoM:DC server in sven that has been fixed. He says he wont release his files, but few people have managed to rip off his server, including myself.

I might release it since hes had this server for quite awhile and is only fair other people are allowed to have this mod for their own use. Not like he made the damn mod.

I'll see if I run into any trouble if I try sharing this with other people.

I'd be interested in this if you can put the files up somewhere.

there is another way other than sven coop...

1) start up aomdc on all computers (not in sc)

2) On the computer that is going to be hosting the server, bring up the console and type the following:

"pausable 0" (so people can't pause the game)
"sv_cheats 1" (unless you plan to ripent all the maps, you need this)
"maxplayers 32" (makes the server joinable)
"deathmatch 0" (changing maxplayers > 2 automatically sets this to 1. Not what we want)
"coop 1" (so people can die without restarting the level)
"developer 1" (needed for changing levels easier)
"map intro" (starts the server on the first level. This is not the training level)

3) have your buddies join the server (there is a "server" button on the bottom right of the main screen when the game starts up).

4) Play through the level!

5) Once you get to the endpoint of the level, a message will spam in the console that reads: "CHANGELEVEL: nightmare pt". This is some sort of bug or "feature" that prevents the level from changing, so you have to do it manually. Type this in the console:

"changelevel nightmare pt" (or whatever level it's trying to change to)

6) once you get to levels where you are supposed to start with weapons it starts to get tricky. This is the major drawback in playing the game this way. You must spawn your own weapons because the ones you had in the previous level won't transfer over. To do this you use a series of "give" commands. What i did is bind keys to all the important weapons so i wouldn't have to spend a lot of time typing. These are all the commands you will need to play:

"give weapon_flashlight"
"give item_battery"
"give weapon_knife"
"give weapon_P228" (remember, it's case sensitive)
"give weapon_glock"
"give weapon_beretta"
"give weapon_shotgun"
"give weapon_uzi"
"give weapon_mp5k"
"give weapon_deagle"
"give weapon_revolver"

this game is awsome and scary

dude....no.....FEAR uses military people...not civilians on their overdose!

fear is a game not a mod and there are really not many sames between fear and AOM

well, Point Man injects drugs all the time too :D no superhuman soldiers in this mod though. and FEAR is less scary than AoMDC, imo.

i agree f.e.a.r have more action scenes in game but aom have more scary and pluzzes

non-steam is for hackers and poor people. Just buy steam games legitly

it takes three hours to download because the servers are kind of busy with other downloads coming from several places, countries, regions and not only that, but loading pages from the server. its only one central server, and it takes time to proccess requests.

in order to fix the greater free hink issue go to the othion in the game then go to rendering options then change it to d3d adn spply and that should do it if dosnt work pm
