This mod replaces the world map in Defcon with a map of Strangereal and certain graphic icons with aircraft and other iconic stuff from the Ace Combat series.
The 6 territories are:
- North America - West Osea and Wellow
- South America - South and East Osea
- Russia - Yuktobania
- South Asia - Sotoa and Verusa
- Europe - Anea
- Africa - Usea
I will be also releasing different graphic packs for Units and the GUI in the future.
- Neucom Inc Pack
- General Resource LTD Pack
- UPEO/SARF Pack
- And many more.
I will complete/fix/improve these files in future versions:
- cities.dat
- coastlines.dat
- coastlines_low.dat
- international.dat
- ai_markers.bmp
- travel_nodes.bmp
- territories.bmp
- And various other files when bugs or errors appear.
Articles
After a series of illnesses I haven't been able to do much with the mod lately but rest assured I'll finish and improve it once I'm back on my feet and kicking. One of the things I'll be trying work out is a bug on the map seam which causes the ICBM's to go crazy and zig-zag across the map at a very high speed.

irrelevant to thread but can I ask - What has become of Zanzers Unofficial MOD list and all the mods therewith? Can anyone say? I've just spent 1/2hr trying to track any sign of said treasure down
Ah sorry for the very late reply. I've been busy with RL and stuff. Due to a hard drive failure and such a year ago, I've lost most of the modding components to Defcon. :/
And yeah Zanzers UML stuff have been lost to seas of time unfortunately it appears his website is down too. :(

Sorry about the late reply a couple of months ago my HDD fried so I've decided to start the mod again and use the experiences to produce a much cleaner and bug free up to date mod.

Yea I got it to work, also I take it all the screenshots are not all of the beta version? No offense but I really don't like the explosion animation.
Yeah the new screenshots was taken using the new version I'm working on. Also do you mean the explosion of the beta or the new explosions in the new screenshots?
