Hi everyone, Dec surprised me with this video which he made for me.
So what else can I do then share it with you guys, it has some nice footage without giving much away :D, it covers the first two maps only of the mod.

And well i was in a video editing mood, and i needed something amazing to film, and the night before if you are given the beta to one of the best looking mods, you cant NOT film it!
It was enjoyable, and hard to play becuase i had no hud or crosshair, but i think i did well enough :D

oh dude, there are new weapons. And we don't all have the luxury of having modelers at our leisure to create anything I need. Be gratefull with what people try to do with the limited resources they have. I'm going allout wit hwhatI can do to create alot of custom content.

wow love the constructive part about your criticism, oh wait there is none. anyway boring comment aswell.
ohh yeah and you mean boring "looking" levels since you haven't played any of the maps except maybe the first one from the demo's. If you base the mod on only that level then I'll just say too bad your loss.

same old n00b comments tbh.... omg i can't have access to the private stuff so and i'm bored of the stuff i can see, so therefore i'll beg for content and complain.
if you think it's boring, at least say why and what you think could help improve it. but hey, the opening stages to HL1, well any game tbh, are pretty boring, so if you think things like this are boring, i don't think playing computer games is your thing and you should move on ;)

And thanks for the back up. And yes most games/mods start out not much happening and build up from there.
I have an idea for that first part where the Vortigaunts teleport in the room before you fight the zombies because it would seem like a problem if you were standing where they were to teleport in and get stuck in them, perhaps you could make them teleport in a room? like a reception office or something and they would break the front glass and you'd have to kill them by shooting through the glass. Just a suggestion.

looks like good fun! i'll give it a try sometime :) plus i think you build up a really nice atmosphere with contrast of the darkness outside and the bright lights inside makes people safe inside, and then of course you can take all the lights of and suddenly... they don't feel safe anymore :P
