It's ok. criticism will be criticism. I'm not a modeler, but I think dealing with polycounts can be pretty tough when you do your first car prop combined with modern car's curves.

Very true.
If you're in the mood to learn, brush up on smoothing groups, and consider beveling the edges on the hood.
Also, you might consider learning nurbs modeling (or some other sort of spline or curve-based modeling) and then converting that to polies when you finish.

Thanks. I'm happy with it. Decent models are hard to get, and these guys are still learning. That sounds like an excuse, but we all know you can only get better at things by doing them and learn from them. For a first car prop I'd say he did very well.
