Well I found it! But only after loading a save from before Owl sent me to find it and this time it was real easy to find so either it spawned in a new place or never spawned at all the first time. Is the mission to defend Skadovsk supposed to take forever? its been a full hour and there's been less than 10 attackers...no mission update ?

Ok so now I'm REALLY desperate for that walkthrough I've been blitzing through the game up to this point even passing through some problem quests without issue (Tarantino) but now all progress has completely stalled because I can't find Owl's damn ammo stash left by the bandit mob at Izumundroye, needed for defence of the Skadovsk. He gives 'approximate location' but it's not good enough I have looked high and low and found other unrelated stashes in the search. looked under and inside every single cabin and scoured bushes etc. Is it on the roof? if so how am I to get to the roof. getting really frustrated by this one PLZ HELP!

I found a better way to re-enable crosshair the same night as my earlier comment. In game directory, default is 'C:\Program Files\bitComposer Games\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Pripyat', locate file 'user_atmosfear.ltx' and open with Notepad and edit last line 'hud_crosshair off' to 'hud_crosshair on', crosshair is now enabled at all times from start up.

its easier to use the console command 'hud_crosshair on' when you start a session then when you load a save reopen the console and press up arrow for the same command and hit enter. much less annoying than doing it through menu each time.

Attack bikes cannot be selected by clicking the unit, only by dragging a box around them, also devil's tongue has wrong spelling, i hope you will have separate cameo for tick tank/devil's tongue. Will nod only have laser turrets, sam sites and obelisks for base defence or is another structure planned to replace shredder turret? the laser turret is cool and I recognise it from the concept art but i think it might be a little too small and hard to target or even spot sometimes compared to vanilla turrets. Hope this helps refine your great work so far.

This is a great tweak. I hope the next conquest mod is a much needed fix to the clunky UI for strike force edit/create, maybe a tweak to size classes (light and med forces are pointless), option for max tech level, strike force generator, even? sub-faction bases for global map? So many things could greatly improve this game mode. It has great potential but I think it seems far from finished by EA

if your Command & Conquer is not updated to 1.9 there is no 'game browser' option in the autoplay launcher. If you have the Origin version of the game there is a different launcher and no 'game browser' at all to support mods. I have read that you can mod the Origin version of the game through Desura but so far I've had no luck with that.

Why are Origin sponsoring this when they make it so impossible to mod anything? currently tearing my hair out over Origin's release of Kane's Wrath refusing to be modded because of the ******* launcher they swapped from the original one.

I have the Kane Edition but the skins are not working even when I am running the vanilla game by clicking play straight from the launcher. My game is patched to 1.09. I had never even seen these skins until now and had the game 5 years! Anybody knows how I fix it?

And what of the Nod? I find it a little unfair that GDI already with tougher units, also gets 4 support powers delivering veterans to the field, and then with TWAdvanced mod they also get pilots to transfer/increase veterancy, while in Tiberium Essence mod they instead get another support power adding veterancy within a radius making them potentially even tougher still.

Where did people share their omegacam maps with everyone please? I would sure like some more like the official maps for instance, without duplicating the work of someone else (surely someone has done them) if possible.

There are a bunch of units in this game, especially when modded, that do not have any direct equivalents within the other factions. Also The Mermaid is hardly equivalent to having shields and isn't even massively useful considering that the Flood XR can do the same job better. The other factions wouldn't need a similar unit because shields are already better than stealth and all this unit does is make it more even if anything by compensating for damage only Cybran navy takes due to not having shields. And not even by doing anything special that a squad of engineers couldn't do, except move a little bit faster. If you think it would be too unbalancing then the unit's build capacity could be kept low so that it doesn't repair super fast, and also only stationary units can be repaired, but with shields they work when moving so usage would work differently to shields. Radar Jamming I always thought should also belong to some Cybran unit other than the Wailer and it would mean you could do interesting misdirection tactics at sea when combining this with separate stealth forces, just like Cybran already can in the air with the combo of Wailers and stealth fighters/bombers/gunships/transports. But maybe this unit should not have Radar jamming at all... but i think some additional ability would be good, only not torpedo defense because it should be different from the Mermaid. Think of this idea maybe more like a Cybran equivalent to the UEF T2 Field Engineer, as I now think these 2 ideas could be combined: a radar jamming (or something) Hive boat with a limited engineering suite which builds only defensive naval structures, including the new sea wall and submarine net structures!

I have another suggestion. since the other factions can use shields with their navy, maybe the Cybrans could get something like a repair boat with a Hive on it, and maybe radar jamming or something.

T2 Cybran Gunship? pretty sure I do not have this unit. i have 2 extra gunships at t3 but i know they are with another mod. what is it called? what does it look like? new t2 cybran air units I have are stealth fighter and advanced stealth bomber and thats it. I am up to date with this 1.20...

Edit: NEVERMIND! you OBVIOUSLY meant the experimental one and not one produced from the air factory!
