how do i do this...? i have never modded before, so can someone help? like give instructions? I have read the readme and know where the control center is, but idk where to copy the files. Where is the install folder?
taking out gdi is peace of cake, for example i dominated north america and didnt let any1 there (i was nod btw) and then those gdi scum started invading europe so i sended huge amount of strike forces and defeated the gdi bases there 1 by 1 and money was not a problem if u build near citys
I hope somebody makes a mod that fixes all the bugs in Global Conquest once the SDK is out. It had such potential but I stopped playing it because it was so buggy.
for some reason every time i run this the game gets stuck on the splash screen and just sits there am i missing something here or what? are then any previous requirements for this?
At WinXP you get a shortcut to it in Start/All Programs/[CNC3KW]/
At Vista and Win7 go to Games and right click on the KW shortcut.
Or make a new shortcut and add -ui at the end of the target line.

I hope the next conquest mod is a much needed fix to the clunky UI for strike force edit/create, maybe a tweak to size classes (light and med forces are pointless), option for max tech level, strike force generator, even? sub-faction bases for global map? So many things could greatly improve this game mode. It has great potential but I think it seems far from finished by EA
I have modded C&C with Tiberium Essence and Kanes Wrath Reloaded but I can't figure out how to make this work. Sorry to sound like a idiot but whats the Kanes install folder and Kanes Wrath Control Center? Maybe was because I am trying to launch with the WarthEd launcher.
for those that don't know, the -ui flag (as appended to the target path, similar to the Tib Wars executable (e.g. '"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Command & Conquer Tiberium Wars\CNC3.exe" -ui', path should look similar unless a custom location was specified during install) will a Game Menu to appear just prior to running the game. However, you will not see the Mod tab in the Game Browser for Kane's Wrath for selecting a specific mod to run.
Has anyone run into the issue with losing refineries in global conquest you never had from the start of a battle? It happens to me after selecting "real time" with a T3 base with upgraded power. I should start with 5 refineries but I only start with 3 and I can't even build them back in like I do with any other base building. It's annoying to have to repair an undamaged T3 base and to not have 5 refineries..

Oh, except if I do build 2 x refineries before the end of the battle, my base stays repaired. If I don't build anything, but also don't lose any buildings, I've still only had 3 regineries throughout the battle and so when I return to the global part, my base comes up damaged with 3/5 refineries.
NVM, I managed to get it working. Its the steam version the mod doesn't like. For those that want to play this mod you need to...
1. Go to GameCopyWorld and download the C&C Kane's Wrath 1.02 No Disk Fix.exe.
2. Put the file into the RetailExe folder in the C&C Kane's Wrath folder which comes under "Steam/SteamApps/Common/Command and Conquer 3 - Kane's Wrath/RetailExe/1.2". The file is called "cnc3ep1.dat"
3. Create a shortcut(desktop) of the CNC3EP1.exe in the Command and Conquer 3 - Kane's Wrath folder.
4. Right Click on the shortcut and click Properties. In the box next to where it says Target add -ui to the end. (after the "). Apply the changes close the window.
5. Open the shortcut to see the C&C3; Kane's Wrath Control Center. Click on the right arrow until you see Set Language. Change the Language to (for me its English) English - Community Patch Beta. Then start the game. This should work for low graphics settings, and I know it works for custom graphics settings as mine is set to custom.
Same as Commando_Bob2016, I seem to have a strange bug where my fully upgraded bases show 5 refineries. But if I play out a battle instead of auto-resolve, my base always starts with 3 refineries. Unless I manage to build to 5 refineries before the end of the battle, my base will show as damaged, even if I lost no buildings, and it will show as 3/5 refineries.
For anybody having trouble getting this to run in the Steam version, I have a fix.
1. After installing the files into your installation folder, right-click Kane's Wrath on your Steam browser and select "properties"
2. On the properties menu, click "set launch options" and type "-ui" in the text window that opens. Once completed, select okay and close the properties window.
3. Launch Kane's Wrath through Steam. The Launcher control window will pop up. Hit the right arrow and select language selection. Choose "English - Community Patch Beta", and then hit play in the launcher. This will activate the mod.
I tested this on Windows 10 and it works. Have fun!
Has anyone got it to work with the Origin version? EA seemingly put in a new 2-in-1 (TW&KW;) launcher that does not respect the -ui flag, and replacing the cnc3ep1.dat does not help either.
Anywhere I can get a copy of the original launcher?
