okay a couple of bugs found after patching to 109931 and restarting
when i equip the artifact detector in left hand and bolt in other you can't toss bolt
the other is buying a vehicle in cordon allows you to jump into the abandoned car by the underpass near rookieville and drive it but the car 'IS' in better shape and has all it's doors, so 2 crappy sidovich cars for the price of one ... so far, maybe I can even start the car at the military base.
still unfixed is having 2 special makarovs for dual weld CTDs the game on equiping them.
thats it so far ... not sure how much longer i am willing to commit time to playtesting this game oh & btw i restarted in collector mode if that helps

thanks for the info but I did grab the BARE Gamedata file folder and the version I have is the latest I guess and it does not have an immunities.ltx so I'm guessing it is embedded elsewhere now ... don't get me wrong but I do like the mod I just need to relearn how to play it ... the start of it drops you in path between the death truck and the check point where the Major is at and the whole crew is always hostile towards my toon ... I get close enough to check with my binocs then I would have to go around to avoid them, which is not a problem since the xray engine got tweaked somehow & they don't "sense" my presence if I crouch and "stealthly" sneak up over the embankment to get past them ... the Commander at the Mil Base all the way down the path need a nade to kill him --shrug-- I'll check the forums like you suggest.
I played a couple of sessions of this mod and found it to be interesting that when you wear a suit with a gas mask your vision is impaired ... fine but in real life you actually should not see the shape of the goggles because they are attached to your face! heh so how do I get rid of that overlay? also why is the Major at the bridge unkillable? I always have to take the long way around him if I want to avoid a fire-fight with him and his crew.
and last gripe is the dual-weld PMs CTDs the game.
yay I finally got this to work using the db method from your skydrive depository ... the torrent method always crashed ... it seems pretty stable with only a few ctds here and there but for the most part playable for me ... really difficult to get around without being mobbed by critters tho especially the dogs ... there are so so many of them ... is there a way to thin them out or make them non aggro when I am not even hunting them or near them, it just seems like they go out of there way just to seek & destroy me making the game not fun at all ... I had to use the god mode option just to be able to fend them off.
but all in all just wanted to say db is the way to go if you all want to try use this mod, it does take a little while to get all of the files (don't forget to grab the BARE gamedata folder since it is essential to use it as your base to unpack the hefty 15+ gigs of files into.
still figuring out stuff but there is alot of innovative ideas at work here.
This is the only series of games I'm still playing since they originally dropped in 2007. Hell I just finished a play-thru of Priboi's Story last night. So more power to the mod teams of your caliber of dedication keeping the masses happy & content. I've seen projects stop development after months of work getting to about 90% completion because of team members dropping out, which is a shameful waste of time & effort IMHO

WOW I can't wait to use them then ... I'm currently trying to finish my play-thru of Priboi's Story.
I tried the current version of LURK & I really liked the weapons but got bored with the story because I played it a few times already and didn't like the non use of artifacts as armor upgrades. I will wait for "your" release of it to check out your amazing work with the arsenal.

I played a bit more and figured out it not the bodies looted that CTDs me but how you go about looting ... if I don't use the "Take All" button I won't crash...
Then I tried to buy a drum mag from Sid and crashed LOL
I give up ... this mod is not worth the aggravation ... maybe when it is actually functioning I will give it a try again ... but for now NAH
I can't even heal a fallen comrade at this point the only NPC I was able to save was Tolik ... anyone else that was down will take the kit but won't get back up ... meh not playing this one

Crap this mod is buggy as hell!
I'm still in the first mission to rescue Nimble and I let the squad go frontal assault while I took the side route directly to where Nimble was took out the guys that were there and when the all clear sounded I proceeded to check for loot and one bandit dumped a shitload of guns, medkits & ammo and I think locations of a lot of stashes then I looted one other bandit... CTDd
CTD when looting bandit with AKM and some weapons don't have description and lastly a found 7.21? clip is in russian

I know that ... but seem like with this mod I can only equip one weapon ... either a pistol or something bigger but not both

well you got me to end my Priboi play-thru mid game to downgrade enabling me to try this out with CTD
so far so good I like the ammo mags feature but how the heck do you load them?
Also do we get to carry a sidearm aswell as a long gun as we progress ... Because even in RL we should be able to do that ... holster for pistol ... sling for rifle?

also tweaking the unique weapons as I get them is pretty cool & to see it work in game ie; a fully auto silenced Big Boy with high accuracy and handling is amazing!
I need to roll back also ... is there a way to do it without me reinstalling ... I actually did get it start but after Sid gave me back my gear and I tried to exit out the bunker I CTDd.

I just wondering if this works with the Priboi's Story Full Conversion Mod, I had just got back into playing this series and decided to try it, since I never played it & it's a surprisingly good new story line. It works out well because I'm playing Misery also ... multitasking ... not at the same time because that would be problematic
ahh... okie dokie, I did not even try to mount a silencer on it yet ... I ended up selling it after I got the March from Nimble.
Thanks for the info ... so what you're saying is that there are many tweaks to the gear that were meant as upgrades ... and if I try to improve it with the same upgrade using a technician I will most likely CTD ... Got it, I need to pay more attention.
I am liking this mod! It breathes new life into CoP which I really enjoyed playing years ago, thanks for this!
Just a heads up --- I get a CTD when I try to upgrade the GHs-18 pistol to accept a sound suppressor with Cardan.
Tried it a few times already whether it's loaded .. unloaded .. equipped .. unequipped .. Cardan drunk .. not drunk I still get the CTD .. so not sure if it's the weapon or the NPC. I'll try to upgrade the pistol elsewhere to see what happens. but I think it's a HUD issue probably with that button...
I just reinstalled STALKER for the first time since I played thru Complete years ago ... so here are my first impressions on LURK 1.1 so far so good, although it seems like you guys did away with uniques as far as I can tell. The first 3 outfits found were all the same, the hidden one in the attic in Loner Village, the Nimble quest suit & the one you start with ??? so that is odd. Mid tier gear to start but can't attach artifacts ??? & no unique weapons ...but that I can live with since you are giving us a pack of really nice guns OP in MHO but the offset is the all seeing enemy that can nail you with a sawed off or makarov from a long distance of 100 yards at least ... really??? You also did away with the mini map so while running thru interiors you need to remember the way & if there is a treasure you need to look very hard for it, meh it needs work but I like it ... plays smooth unlike SOUP or LEGENDARY which taxes my rig.
In your Final Release I would like a repair and salvage kit included and the belt returned so I can attach the artifacts, which IS A DEFINING FEATURE of this game and shouldn't be removed because as it stands now it's a shooter without anything special since you removed everything noteworthy about it.
Collecting the uniques is a big part of why I liked this game even the lower tier gear is owned because no one else has it or sells it ... what's the point if you can just buy the gear that every one else has already...
Duty Rifle Quest glitch with weapon add-on installed ... If I remember correctly when I did this quest years ago during my first play-through, the Bandit Boss Borov had ... this time around he didn't and the quest indicator says it should be at ground level ... it's minor but annoying that I would get a failed quest when the time runs out on it
