That's unusual and an error I never heard off. Probably an error while moving files and "exporting" outdated files? That's the only explanation I have.

Well, people still can install skin mods if they do not like the default tank models.

Very unlikely (mainly cause we rely on stuff from the base game) it still will be released on Steam as an independent download though.

This is the replacement for the normal minesweeper we had and these are just generic ingeneries.

There's a difference in that mod and ours. They replace the existing factions. We add additional factions, that's where our problem starts. If Relic won't release a fix soon, we'll try to do a work around. Sorry for waiting but we would prefer a clean fix instead of a dirty temporary solution.

@Robert59
We'll find a fix for the problem no worries it just takes some time.
I strongly oppose 'boycotting' SEGA/Relic or anybody for this. Neither do I think they disabled custom .dll loading on purpose. I'm more convinced of the fact that CoH1 patches are made by Smoking Gun Entertainment (as far as I remember) and some miscommunication led to the removal of it. So calm down and stop thinking about conspiracies :P.

That's an issue with the newest Steam version of CoH. We are trying to sort it out asap and to contact Relic about it.

Nope, we didn't planned to. However the idea sounds interesting but on the other hand it's kinda useless, expect if you are playing against base bombers :P.

No, as we are trying to stick to a Relic imitation. So yes we continue to use the vanilla damage system.

Don't worry guys our team features german as well as russian historicans. I guess they'll find a good balance between fact and fiction. I also want to refer to the last post in this commentrow. In the end it's still a videogame, it's about telling a story and not to reflect historical facts or the reality (even though Relic truely did advertise with that).

Yes, because finding reference roof texture is hard and nearly impossible. We had some buildings which didn't reference any texture files in their entire .rgm (hexcode) and were still displayed as they should.

How you can find out what texture an object uses:
(Corsix's Mod Studio)
Go to attrib/ttrib/ebps and find the exact object you placed in your map (should be the same path). Then go to "entity_blueprint_ext" under animator you'll find the path to the art object. So go back to the tree head and then to Art/models/... you'll find the model you search for. Pick the .rgm and you'll find the path to the textures on the left side.

As the mod is almost snow only it could be possible that they just replaced the paths of the existing buildings.
