Compelling story line draws you in. Deadly death demons and chaos stones hold a promise that this will be something unusual.
Runs smoothly with 1.4.8 patch
Have enjoyed for years. Stirring music - totally immersive
Bug-free
Many intriguing details that one comes to appreciate only gradually.
A rough start for an adventurer.

Have enjoyed manyhours of play
Problem with sieges but a truly and utterly enjoyable experience. Factions are clearly differentiated. Just when you think it's safe, another faction attacks and challenges you to match your tactics to your new enemy. Likely to consume many more hours of my life.
Problem with sieges resolved - once I moved from Program(86) folder as recommended.
Wonderful game play and ambiance. I've played this for hours and will certainly go back. The music and voices are great. The opportunity to jump in as a land holding noble or king is unique.
I wish I had a seneschal or patrols to defend my villages from smallish raiding parties.
I've been playing at least weekly since the original Mount and Blade - years ago. The mods offer exciting diversity and I'm still learning the intricacies of the game play. Enjoyable at all levels of skill.
Complex, elaborate mod. Cavalry is not too overpowered. Armor penalties are a challenge. Gives a feel for the shield wall. I've come back to this mod with each update over the years and gained new insights into the thoughtful design and implementation.
In 1.41 can't seem to get my troops to level up - 5000 point battle and I'll win one level for troops but more for NPC's.
Magnificent achievement! Amazing detail and intriguing complexity without substantial barriers to enjoyment. I'm now playing the latest iteration. Unlike MTWII - building affects politics and ability to mobilize resources more than technology. You can't conquer a region and raise new troops the same or next turn.
Playing most recent iteration with no crashes to date.
