I accidentally changed key binds for mouse wheel from weapon scrolling to Binocular Zoom instead and I can't figure out how to change it back. I don't see an option for "Next Weapon" and "Previous Weapon" in the Key-Bind Menu and I don't see an option to initialize key binds to their Default settings.

I was originally trying to change the key binds for the mouse wheel because I wanted to Invert the mouse wheel scoped zoom controls since I didn't like how scrolling up zoomed away and scrolling down zoomed in. Any ideas on how to fix this would be great!

Worked like a charm! I typed "give panzerfaust" (twice) and that gave me a fighting chance against that cheap boss.

Can you explain a little more please? I'm stuck at the Super Soldier Boss (after X-Labs) without any rockets or grenades. Cheats are disabled in the console by Wolfserver. I just want to give myself a Panzerfaust rocket launcher. A link to an explanation would also work.

Can you please tell me where the SAVE FILE is located and what its called? I'd like to play RealRTCW on a different PC without steam. I don't see an obvious SAVE Folder and can't find any .sav files...

BTW, still early in the game, but so far its a big improvement over the old XBox game I played. Just curious, any plan on adding the Occult Priests or Egyption dessert campaign in the future?

Can the "Q4_duct_tape" mod be added to Rivarez mod? While I do love the overall dark shadowy look of the Id Tech 4 Engine, I do prefer to have a flash light on all weapons. Considering that both mods have their own versions of Qauke4Config and gamex86.dll (among others), is it possible to make these 2 mods work together?

So the QUAKE 2 Mod page shows Q2XP was just updated on "Dec 14 2019", but I can't figure out what was updated. The last FILE update was in Feb, 2019 and the last ARTICLE was in "Jun 9 2019". Any ideas, what's new or is it just a glich?

The futuristic, sci-fi, techno look of E1M1 is gone. Instead its retextured like a modern, inner-city warehouse with brick walls and wooden boxes. Looks like something out of an old Max Payne game. The textures don't even make sense in the context of a Quake game, so I stopped playing after that. I was hoping the "UNHOLY" title meant it would have more of a hellish, Doom look, but instead its just a randomly textured joke mod. Maybe thats supposed to be "unholy" part.

Hey Blackmore, this new update looks really cool, but I was wondering if BLACK EDITION would go well with the 30 map Doom Megawad, EVITERNITY? I'm not really looking for a total RNG cluster-**** (with CyberDemon variants & BFG's in the 1st episode), but more of a gradual progression to insane action like in Meta-doom. Is BLACK EDITION good for that?

Also ,in your opinion, which Black Edition TEXTURE SETTING should I use with Eviternity or should I just stick with the amazing vanilla textures?

So I just got thru playing the PERFECTED DOOM 3 main campaign and its was great! It finally made me feel like a powerful Doomslayer in the main D3 campaign.

BUT now I'm Playing thru PD3: ROE mod expansion and there are 2 BIG problems:

- The FLASH LIGHT is not even HALF as bright as in the main campaign of PD3. Why is it so much dimmer now, especially considering that ROE is so much darker than Vanilla D3 already?

- Also, I can't DISABLE FALL DAMAGE like I did in PD3 main campaign. Is there a fix for this?

I just feel like the whole point of Perfected Doom 3 is to make the player feel more powerful and capable. But if my flashlight can't illuminate the monsters in the darkness and I'm literally losing 10HP from a 5 foot fall, then I'm kinda feeling like an under-powered survival horror character again... Any help is appreciated.

OK, I figured it out! I just opened the console and typed:

seta g_playerSpeedType "1"

and got a massive speed boost!

By default, seta g_playerSpeedType is set to "0" in Doomconfig.cfg & Autoexec.cfg, which is the normal SLOW speed. Switching it to "1" turns on the FAST speed. So in case anyone was wondering how to speed up the movement, here you go!

Hi VGames, I'm really loving the upgraded guns & enemies in your PERFECTED DOOM 3 mod, but I'm wondering if there's any way to increase the WALKING/STRAFING SPEED somehow? Standard walking & strafing speeds are way too slow for me and you can't shoot while running. I don't see a setting for this in the options and I tried using "pm_walkspeed 300" in the console, but nothing happens...

Any help is appreciated!

1) Since the 3 pk4 files appear to be in the Realistic Weapons V10 mod, do I need that mod to move/walk faster?

2) Can the D3 Super Allies mod increase my walking speed or maybe turn ON Always Run without disabling shooting while running? If so, should I install REDUX folder in the Perfected Doom folder or vice/versa? Just started modding and not exactly sure how to make these 2 mods try to work together.

Just started using this mod with Perfected Doom 3 and IMO its a huge improvement over the original dark gray D3 textures. Enemies can now be easily seen in this ridiculously dark game!

+ Zombie Soldiers uniforms are now black & white camouflage instead of all dark gray!
+ Pinky Demons are now Red & Pink instead of gray
+ Imps are now Orange & Red instead of gray
+ Spider Ticks are light brown instead of gray
+ Maggots are now Yellow instead of gray
- The lab tech zombies (tho much more visible in their white & blue lab coats) textures look really rushed and N64-janky. These are the only questionable textures I've seen so far in the early game.

Overall, a huge improvement for this oppressively colorless game!
