Well, you know what vsync does? If so, you should agree that it is useless, since the games FPS is limited to 30 FPS.
The first thing says, that the launcher could not get informations from our server. Maybe your pc was offline?

No. The mod works Fine on Windows 8, but not on Windows 8 RT. Just Google the difference, RT is more like a mobile operating system, it cant even start exe files.
Well, the installer normally works fine with every windows, except Windows 8 RT, since this is based on ARM architecture. But the game also wont work on RT. Which Windows are you using?
Normally redownloading the mod solves most of the issues. The Moddb server dont seem to be good with big files, since a lot people have problems when they downloaded it from there so try to download it from our server: Modding-union.com
I already run a beta version of the switcher on my computer, which has this resolution. There are just some major things I need to fix before releasing the update.
Well, the chance that this mod will be a game is like 0%.
We do neither have the license for the game engine, nor for the LotR franchise. The chances of getting only one of them is also like 0%.
Well, it is not dead. There is one thing people like you need to understand: We are doing this as our hobby. We do not get money for this, we even pay money, considering the server cost for our website. The whole team has a job not related to this mod and mostly even not related to programming or game design, we can be happy, if we can invest like 5 hours a week into modding. Now look what we are doing are: changing the whole gameplay, this mods adds more content than the official expansion pack. A full payed team of professional programmers needed a year of work for the expansion pack. And now there are people like you who think that we can do more in a shorter time. That is simply not possible.
I am fine with people not liking our mod, you do not have to. It is your opinion. But i am not fine with people who treat mod developers, who offer a hell lot of work for free to others, like ****.

Jeah, i known bug of the game. Thats why I made a little program that fixes this:

Just to get a few thinks clear: the users are right, only the text will be english, not the sound.
It often sounds like we do not want English voices, since a lot of users say that the german voices are fine. But, personally, I think that an all german and an all english version would be much better. This mixture of different languages is just bad, in my opinion. But as also said before: Finding, cutting and adding good sounds and voices for the game are a hell lot of work. So we set the priority to gameplay and not the sound.
But as also said numerous times before: we are always open for submods! If there are people who want to translate all the voices and know how to do it, please do it! ;)
We appreciate submods, for example our AI Coder at first also only made a submod for our mod. His submod was so good that we asked him to join our team and added his submod to the main mod.
Simply download the mod again, there was an error during your download. I also recommend using our own server ( Modding-union.com ) since this error happens a lot more often on the moddb servers.
You can attacks walls and gates with every unit in BFME 1.
We do not have a release date.
You can for sure play against the AI.

4.0 will only have english text, not voices. English voices would delay the release by years, because we would need to rewatch movies in english, cut usable soundfiles from them and then add them to the game.
Edit: And it is not only the LotR movies, a lot of sounds are not from them.
And another thing for your installer: The specific language name of the "My Battle for Middle-earth files" folder is also saved in the registry ;)
Hey, just some serious criticism on the launcher, because there were some people on our german BFME forum which had problems with your launcher:
A launcher should be an easy way to start your mod, instead of this your launcher makes it more complicated to start the mod.
Another thing is that most of the things the user has to enter are not necesarry. You can check all those things via the registry or via the batch commands. No user input is needed.
Checking if the system is 32 or 64 bit is easy with batch, which you launcher seems to use, just google it ;)
The game directory is saved under the following string in the registry (I use Rise of the Witchking as example, but BFME 1 also has this string):
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Wow6432Node \ Electronic Arts \ Electronic Arts \ The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king" on 64 bit, delete the Wow6432Node for 32 bit. Simply check one string at first and check the other if it is empty.
The string is called "InstallPath".
Integrating this check will also help users, who do not have an english windows installed, since the paths are named different there.
And the last point: Add a graphical user interface! This cmd box for sure just confuses most of the users instead of helping them start the mod.
Jeah, the mod is changing the asset.dat for sure, because this is the file, which makes ressources, like 3d modells, textures etc. available for the game.
The mod works without any problems with windows 8.
Arnor is already in the mod. It is a map feature of Gondor. Simply play a map located in Arnor and choose Gondor as faction, you will then be able to play as Arnor ;)
Login to Tunngle via the switcher, you will be automatically logged into the right network. Just ask in the chat there if someone wants to play ;)

You can set it by yourself, we wont do it.
By the way: You eye can only see about 23 pictures per second, so more the 30fps should not be visible.
Even 40 fps will change the gamespeed by 33%.
Hey, i dont understand italian, but i will try to answer your questions :D
The game will only work with 30fps maximum. The problem here is, that the game calculates all times through the fps. 60 seconds buildtime is only really 60 seconds, if the game runs constantly with 30fps. If we'd set the maximum fps to 60, the buildtime would only be 30 seconds. Same is for walking speed, attack speed, etc....
The mod already has widescreen support, just open the switcher, go to Tools / Options and change the resolution there.
I don't "sync multiplayer" should be, be you can the play the mod in multiplayer via tunngle.
