Just dont use the launcher to start. We do not have the UI scaled for ultra wide though, so the whole UI will be stretched.

Which map were you playing? It seems the map was not compatible with Edain.

It seems like something is blocking your launcher from connecting to the internet. Check your anti virus or firewall if they are.

4.5.5 is not available for download anymore. If you are downloading through the launcher, then you are getting 4.6

Patch 2.02 is not a patch. It is just another mod.

The game is not too good at emptying the RAM after each game, so you are more likely to get out of memory errors in your second game. Just close the game and open it again to avoid that.

It still does check, just in a faster way the manual clicking of the button does.

It’s basically allocating the game to a single core, simply because the game was created before multi core processors were a thing. Modern processors have a higher Clock rate when only one core is used. So this in the end might lead to the game running a little better.

Disable any other mods Including patch 2.02, you should only have the official patched installed.

Uninstall the mod and install it again. Should solve any issues you might have.

Try the “fix non starting games” button in the options of the launcher. If that doesn’t work: uninstall the games and the mod, install the games again, make sure they start, then install the mod again.
Regarding the update over the launcher: it is enabled, if your ping to the server is bad, either because the server is under heavy load or because you can not connect to it, then the update won’t work.

Uninstall the mod, download 4.5 on Moddb and install it.
That should solve any issues.

As soon as the launcher update is activated again, yes. If you get an error message just download 4.5 here and install it.

That means that the game is not installed correctly with the official installer, since the registry keys do not exist. Make sure you use a legit installer for the game, otherwise the mod and the game won’t work properly.

Uninstall both the games and the mod, the reinstall all of them. Should solve your issues.

That’s the games copy protection. Make sure you are not using any cracks or no CD patches to start the game.

The newest version of the launcher is included in the installer though, so do not worry about that.

Open the launcher and select your language. The first language is always German, at the first start the launcher will ask you which language you want to play in.

Just an FYI: The update via the launcher is disabled for now, since the server was crashing under the load and our website was not accessible. I will enable it again later this night.

The mod is too big to be installed a different way, since the big files have a maximum file size. We therefore can’t use the mod command other mods use to keep the game out of the main directory.
What problems do you have after uninstalling? I tested the uninstaller multiple times and it always leaves the game folder in the pre mod install state.
The launcher is necessary to use some of the mods features, like different shellnaps. It also gives you the possibility to update the mod without having to download multiple gbs of installer again, since only changed files will be downloaded. Hope that explains why we have it. The perk though: if you do not want to use it, then don’t! You can simply start the mod by clicking on the original games shortcut.

Seems the download of the file is properly working for you. Try downloading the file with a different browser.

Just read what’s written in Bold letters in the description of the launcher. You need both. Also 4.5 is not released yet, you need to download 4.3 and then update through the launcher.

Its a zip file. Extract it first, then run the installer.
