As said in the stream, we are currently discussing an open beta, but we are not sure about that yet. An open beta would be available for everyone, as the name suggests.

Yeah but this is a problem with the engine itself. It only supports one core of your processor, so it slows down when a lot of units are displayed. There is nothing we can do about it.

It as a simple .exe file. Douple click it to start it, thats it. You can save it anywhere.

The fixer is only for one specific problem appearing on windows vista and later windows version. There also could be other problems why the game is not starting. Maybe you installed the wrong patch? You need the patch with the correct language and also the right one for either the EA downloader or the CD / DVD version. Also try running the game in compatibility mode and start it as admin.

The fixxer deletes the options and savegames, because the problem is there. But there should not be a need to run it before every start of the game, just run it once.

Not all off it. We made it a community decision on the german forums ( Forum.modding-union.com ) there are still some problems. It is for example not possible to add them to all factions, but the community decided that they'd like them ingame nevertheless. The forum post gives more information on the topic, but it is in german ;)

Simply vote for it, Moddb won't differ from versions in the voting progress. WOR is one of the lasts things on our list and will probably not see a lot improvements in the next version.

We will not say a release date, as said before.
The subdmods are not made by the team, they are made by fans. So we also can't give release dates for them ;)

The worldbuilder works with the mod like with the original game, just the new units, buildings etc. are added. So it is the same way as creating an original game map.
There are some map specific features in the map, you can simply check them by opening on of the mods maps.

Just a deeper thought on this since I am the one who makes the installer and launcher: my plan is that the installer installs both languages, You can then choose in the launcher which one You prefer.

Keep in mind that 90% of our team only program as hobby, we have other jobs or are studying in other fields. I, for example, am studying biotechnology. We would need to stop what we are doing now in order to get a kickstarter working. I think that I speak for the team when I say that we do not want to stop what we are doing now ;)

I honestly do not think that this problem is caused be the game or a common error, but either a mistake you made while experimenting. Easiest solution is to simply reinstall your OS and be happy about a windows running without any erros.

Use the latest version of our launcher. It has a tool in the options window to fix a not starting game.

You need a legal, clean installation of BFME 2 and Rise of the Witchking. Patch BFME 2 to 1.06 and the addon to 2.01. Then install the mod.
No unofficial patches, no cracked or downloaded version of the game.

We will not readd them. Problem is that the CaH needed a lot of the ressources of the engine. The engine has it limits. So either re add CaH and delete a lot of our features or let the CaH out of the game and our features. We decided for the later one.

Savegames with Lothlorien do not work. It is a known bug. Neither the AI nor you should have Lothlorien to load a savegame.

Which map did you play? Gollum needs to be added to every map, so if the map maker did not Gollum, you can not find him. Try playing original maps.
