i simply have fghters fly ahead, followed by frigates, then the capital ships. bombers i normally have come on a different vector, with corvettes on the inner curve to dicurage any enemy fighters. plus the corvettes wll on occasion get good angles on the enemy fighters.

well, talking about it just got us to decide we shoud destroy and not protect it. the irony is palpable :P

i hope they get back to their roots and make more PC games. make another big strategy game. they should prove that they can make many blockbuster hits, not just Halo (even if Halo was a 'cultural phenomenon' by wikipedia).

i thought the regular armarment was just 4 lasers, 2 ion cannons, and two missile launchers. Isard's Revenge had that as the armarment anyways.

ok i have an amzing story with these things in reach. me and my friend Charly Brown (its his real name!) were doin Pillar of Autumn on Legendary. right after the mongoose driving sequence (we actually rode a truck through), you have to fight that one wraith with all the brutes scattered around. so we kill all the brutes, when the wraith just starts avoiding everything. finally, after i got behind a big pipe for cover, i said over the mike, 'OK heres the plan. you get in that forklift, distract him, and i will hijack him. GO!'

i see him coming around the bend in the forklift. i say 'What are you doing?' he says hes winning.

i g to the other sde of the pipe, and he is against the wraith, and saying, 'Dont you fire at me, dont you shoot, i will push you into that wall if you so much as shoot!'

and then i hijacked i and took it over. we have never forgotten this feat.

this is like the incinerater from GB (a least it think it was called the incinerator). gj!

my only suggestions is add a few more cars, make it slightly longer (thats what she said), and make it have three dotted lines on either side of the yellow. the cars woul simulate a better population feel (imo), the bridge being longer would put it in better proportion, and the additional lines i think would solve the problem of giant spaces.

just my opinions though, fantastic work. PS if it takes a while to make maps, why are you lurking here? and if your making maps, is the bulk of gameplay ready? ;)

iooks good i jsut think it should be a few shades deeper, and a bit more filled out (like in the center). i thought these were going to be used for if they take so much damage, the blood comes out of them and lands nearby, wich this would be perfect for.

i thought it was supposed to be 'merely a cruiser' by the title lol.

lame jokes aside, very impressive, its still a wonder of how well the models look whenever it involves a low poly count. i still looking forward to this, i refuse the beta because i will not settle to play half and risk getting bored!

pretty good map. i remembr that game, and i also remember this was at the tail end of the game, and you flew around in a republic gunship as mace windu.

good map, and now i want to play that game again LOL

this was so much fun on vanilla FoC while on geonosis. have all the mobile platform things you could get, go to one portion of the map, make two shield generators, a bunch of turrets, and a repair thing and you would never die.

dont hate. america's done a lot in its relatively short life span.
