Japan used spears extremely extensively as well. They still mainly considered swords to be sidearms. You don't take a short weapon to a very long pointy stick fight.

Hey, listen. All you wanna do is, if you have steam and want to download a mod, just go to steam, go to empire at war, go to properties, go to set launch options and put MODPATH=Mods\modname

Hey can someone help with this problem, please? I downloaded the mod as normal, but when I double click the installer, nothing happens. All that happens is it shows up in the task manager and lags my computer.. but never actually comes up. I have tried running as administrator, and I have tried compatibility mode, nothing works. Please someone help, I have a limited data cap on my internet, and that's 800mb down the drain.

My point is, I am having serious issues with the AI, and a lot of other people reported this as well, hopefully you guys patch this ;P

I installed the mod and then the patch.. I wouldn't see why I would need to reinstall, and anyway, that's not really an option to download 1.6 GB... not with a network cap atleast.. -_-

Not really, for all those having issues, read this, all you do to install this mod for steam is, go to common/empire at war/FOC/mods, if there is no mods folder, make one, then , put the file in, then go to steam, right click properties on empire at war, click set launch options, and type MODPATH=Mods\ And after the slash with no space, type the name of the folder you just put in. simple as that.

I got that, what I did was combine the files, delete the shortcut, renamed it "americas" without qoutations, moved out the americas campaign from kingdoms, and then put it in, and selected americas, but I am getting a FUCKLOAD of crashes in multiple areas..:L

Just for anyone who can't get this to work, what I did was unzip the data folder, make a new folder called HumanMod, put the data folder in there, put it in the mods folder in the directory, and then I added this to the launch options in steam MODPATH=Mods\HumanMod. I hope this works for you guys, and have a nice day.

It works guys, if you have steam go to the game, right click, properties, launch path, MODPATH=Mods\expandedmod and it works, works for me :D
