That would obviously be the case, since you don't have the DLC means even if you added him with the save game editor, the game doesn't have his related files.
The effect looks similar to the Gauss trails from MechWarrior 4.
atm = at the moment
Hard to believe this is based off the original Deus Ex.
Wait, I did spy a few things that mark is as an almost 6 year old game. Is it possible to increase the number of meshes for the standard models?
Excellent job on the icons. AWESOME SAUCE!
Better and better.
Methinks its time for me to re-install my TSun...
I just want my Minotaurs.
Very interesting, repurposing an FPS engine for RTS purposes. For that reason alone I'm watching to see if you have any success. That you're working on HL2 is just a bonus.
Hmm. To be honest I'm having mixed reactions. It looks good, but the structures look a bit too clean to me. I know you're keeping to the original RA look, which is fine, but maybe a bit of weathering would work well, since these are structures in war.
Some of the units look a tad larger than their RA incarnation, the Chronotank being the one that I noticed first, and others a bit small, (cruiser). Perhaps I'm nitpicking a bit, but its usually the small things that make the difference so you might want to think about that.
But all in all, I like that you're bringing the RA setting back. Keep up the work.
Hmm. Interesting concept.
Maybe I'm nitpicking a bit, but methinks you need to find a way for the Disintegrator beams to stop moving around like they do, because it wouldn't be in line with the barrel.
Reccomend pulling Liberty's voice from Fallout 3. He would be perfect for this situation, me thinks.
For some obscure reason I rofl'd when I saw that little flag peeking over the tank's turret.
Eye-spy a mammoth-ish walker.
Turrets seem a bit big to me. Or the SDZ is just a small structure.
... Tch cheat my feelings I thought this would be a TC for Fallout in C&C 3. No worries, still looks awesome.
What's the scale for these? On par with the Khornate Bloodthirster?
Needs a massive vibra-***** as CCW. :p
Personally, I don't see how a sorceror would be able to cast spells, but then this is Chaos so ...
Shall reply for the mod maker. "When its ready".
Figured I should give a shoutout.
Excellent work you've done so far. I have a few issues with the untextured Engine of Vaul, and a few other wireframes that are showing up, but their so high cost I rarely use them anyway. Very balanced and the new AI is very challenging. When I play FoK I never know if I'm going to win or not, but if I'm playing DC I know for a fact I'll win. Again, excellent work, and keep it going. I shall patiently await your SS release.
That's actually a standard HW2 feature. Simply put, when you zoom away from a ship, the engine chooses a lower res texture that looks good from a far, but switches to a more detailed one when you zoom in.
Saves memory in the long run. Though, normally the engine is quite fast at swapping the textures that you barely notice.
I'm not sure if WC3 can use them, but if you add normal maps to the statue, it would make it look much more elaborate, and you'd save on the polys.
Looks good, but do keep in mind that the WC3 engine might not be able to handle the full range of modifications you have planned, so its always good to have back ups.
Yeah, its really hard to pick out the 'IV' at first glance, so either changing the color might help. Also, visually speaking, since the entire logo is a single pinkish-purple, color wise its quite boring. Try using different color combinations so that the logo stands out more.
Ah, but the design is cool.
Does it still have its infamous accuracy?
I reckon you should scale it down a bit. Even if you're zoomed in all the way, it still looks a bit big to me.
You're very talented. Or very experienced with modelling.
This might convince me to pick up my Oblivion again.
No, I recognize him. Chapter Master Dante.
Death Company Chaplain, maybe? Or Blood Angels Champion?
... They look more like thrusters to me, though viewed from behind.
