hi, i mostly play skirmish and i'm still new but i really want to improve my skills but;

how DO you fight AI in skirmish? since the mod mechanic of torpedoes no longer go through shields, it's impossible to stop a full fleet of enemy ai as they just waltz right through MY fleet of whatever to go to straight towards each and every mining resource I have and then they continue on their merry way until i build a new mine somewhere else.

Friendly AI helps I guess sometimes but since they don't actively protect their own mines, so they don't really help.

hey, i have no modding experience but i was just wondering.

I had trouble with airforce general with controlling so many aircraft units/groups at once(I imagine its pretty much a universal problem at this point which was why the aircraft shortcut button was introduced, which i also applaud by the way. nice touch)

but I was wondering if it was possible to make it like 'act of war' rts style? for example, every bomber purchased is an accumulated 'general power/airstrike shortcut button' similar to the accumulated multiple radar van radar scan power.

i reckon this approach has been thought of before but was just wondering from your perspective.

Just wanted to say I've just recently tried your mod and enjoying it so far. I avoided this mod because I thought it was some random nukefest/overpowered mod but now I'm glad I gave a shot and tried playing this.

Truthfully, I had early trouble settling in with Hard ai only in skirmish as i'm not that good but because I enjoyed the diverse and unique strats for each general, it kept me coming back to just try harder and figure out how to overcome the hard ai.

(also your music choice is super nice, i like leaving the game on or just lazy play because i wanted to enjoy the music)

PS: nuke general is absolute 'dark souls mode' because ive never played a mod that gave him absolutely no defense at all but the payoff for the nuke storm is oh my god worth every effort i was trying so hard not to lose the game. thank you for that experience.

Hi just wanted to say, thank you for your amazing work. I've been looking all over for a game that I can play as an adventurer as well as a blacksmith with realistic level of smithing. Cant wait to start playing this mod again. havent checked in a while so this was surprising.

Skyrim modded with hunting, harvesting and blacksmithing was my everyday roleplay game. I heard of the game Gothic to have similar level of smithing but since I never played it, it seemed a bit too outdated for me. Little Blackmith shop is too simple. I'm still looking for games of similar experience, Nova Aetas hopefully to be my next.

Land raider doombringer and destroyer is not in game yet. check the changelog, it has hints with the ">" symbol, stating that it would have been for next version, not current. Same for the knight of flame.

im sorry but

can someone help me find where is the new chaos units, destroyer and Chaos Land Raider Doombringer is?

in the changelog, i noticed those two. I played twice as chaos, i built everything to top tier but never found them anywhere. is it not yet added or is it hidden locked somewhere? like if it's locked but i can see it, then fine but problem is i can't see it at all in any build options.

also daemons AI, still uses blight drone even with aircraft restrictions in my gameplays.

Might as well give some details on first game;

1 CSM, 1 Daemons ally vs 1 IG, 1 SM

played it immediately after update, launch via steam shortcut.

Apparently the blight drone still flies despite restriction : aircraft rule during this gameplay.

crashed immediately after enabling sorceror lord's power.

2nd Game,

2 CSM vs 1 IG, 1 SM

launched game via mod manager.

Sorceror lord's power works perfectly.

will try again should problem persists and/or blight drone still flies despite aircraft restriction.

Soooo okay.

Second game... it actually works? pretty well?

I tried spamming it, casting all spells, basically trying to break it but... it's fine now. wat

Not sure should post at bug report 1.88 or wait for bug report 1.88.3. but for now, I'll just leave it here.

What I did differently was simply by launching via Mod Manager instead of default steam shortcut. I always used steam shortcut because it seemed to cause no problem before especially for other factions so I figured it wouldn't make a difference.

Apparently now Lord of Change is working again sooo (???)

but honestly though, where do I find Destroyer and Land raider Doombringer? is it specific to a certain God or should I pick none to get to them? Was playing Tzeentch so might've missed it I guess?

But I did post this in the bug thread in 1.8.7. before. I hoped it wouldnt happen again in this new version but I guess we have to wait a bit.

Oh well, while I was unable to enjoy Lord Of Change instant abilites for the moment, I have to say the introduction of different 'doctrines' for Space Marines and Orks is just marvelous. Definitely adds my exploration and replayability for both factions for me. In fact, it has become one of the things I like to show off to friends why this mod is great.

Which by the way, may I ask, do you have any plans for different 'sub-factions/doctrines' for other factions as well? such as Tau option as Farsight Enclave or Imperial Guards Catachan for instance?

Immediate crash after turning on Lord of Change's instant cooldown buff by Sorceror Lord.

I don't get it, do I have to reinstall? This never happened before in 1.8.7 versions and versions before it.

I have the warnings log if you need it.

oh lol that's a legit tactic? I was a bit guilty doing that because I thought that I was cheesing. For sure I thought that only pure IG players know how to macro kasrkins and tanks and stuff can play without use of defences or walls lol.

Just curious, are you going to add voices/sfx from Total war warhammer or is that not allowed(copyright etc)?

I wish you guys the best of luck for your next patch! Been playing on and off total war warhammer. Pretty and fantastic but still doesn't have the enjoyment I get from this mod. I still miss this mod!

Ops, tried again. still occurs.

Standard difficulty game with some rules like Addon Legio titanicus and some minimal ones like builders on start etc. Auto abilities is NOT on.

Very little fight going on in the field, 2v2, 2 CSM vs 2 SM.

Used Chaos Sorceror Lord's buff for Lord of Change again and it crashed again.

Im sure I turned shadows off but not all are at lowest. maybe one or two still at medium but still.

Didn't expect the number of models would affect Lord of Change's magic but then again I forgot how heavy resources is for this mod. Maybe it's time I turn everything to lowest then :P

I apologized if I missed your buglist for this version but;

When I activated the (cant remember the name) the ultimate cooldown buff for the Lord of Change by Tzeentch's main sorceror lord, the game crashes.

I'm already using the 4gb patch (although I'm using steam's default shortcut, didn't use the mod organizer for soulstorm shortcut or anything else, if that makes a difference)

Sometimes it works flawlessly, sometimes it crashes. Last gameplay, if I remember correctly - I simply used lord of change's ultimate mini chaos storm and it was on cooldown. I then activated the Chaos Sorceror Lord's cooldown buff, and then it immediately crashed.

Oh by the way, I wanted to say, again, personally, thank you for your audio and music work. Ive wasted a lot of hours on your previous versions, this update got me returning again to explore what else is new.

There seems to be far less noise than before which is surprising because it's such a thing that I had to get used to even when playing vanilla dawn of war. (tau, flash gitz, nurgle commander, dreadnaught, comissar taunts, etc, that can be heard across the map and such) Now, there isn't anymore that I can notice (or not yet but hey, everything is so good now.)

And less of main title repeating during game for music also helped. really loved use of dawn of war 2 soundtrack.

But I am curious, why some of the music had a bit of distortion(like kinda louder than usual or how you say... boosted?)? not complaining, just curious how different audio formats was needed to fit in soulstorm and what not.

But in any case, can't thank you enough. Imperator Titan is great. Would rant on experience on that but I didnt want to digress too much on one post.

ah well makes sense. I was only able to do that in this current version because the pressure of attrition was so constant before, I didn't have time or wasn't quick enough to replace current low tier front line troops that were holding on their own at the time with higher leveled ones in time before the uber tanks came. Welp, thank you though!

Oh wait, I forgot to mention that my last post was with previous version.

Standard difficulty, normal pop cap.

2-3 kill burstas and other assorted uber tanks at a time.

But after just now played new version, somehow it seems calmer but haven't played more yet. basically feels just right, at least for now and for me which I am thankful. At least I can still handle them now than before.

PS: I was also sometimes played on FOK maps if that helps? but in any case, I am comfortable enough with this version so far.
