This version of Nova Aetas brings a bunch of bug fixes, rebalances, improvements and some new features such as taxes. Freezes are fixed, exploits are removed and dozens of more fixes. View ReadMe folder for full details.
Great, fixed a lot of the issues I had. One problem I have encountered is the general inablity for ANY Lords to enter Cities, which causes a few issues when needing to speak to them or trying to host a feast that requires their presence in a building.
No v4.1 is not savegame compatible with v4.0. But some fixes of the patch are combined in hotfix v4.0.1 which is savegame compatible. If you want to stay playing your game, patch it with: Moddb.com.
You can't. Quintillius said that the savegames aren't compatible, but hotfix 4.0.1 has some of the fixes in it and /is/ compatible. If you don't want to lose your saves, you can just use that one :)

lol, Also for some reason an Aztec army is following me around (literally accompanying me). I think the lord is "Apacocan," we aren't at war and he's just randomly on the Calradian continent (update 4.1.2). Don't know if this is a bug or just weirdness.
I'm playing for a few days now and I think it's great!
I like that not everything depends on the army and relations. Instead, it's more focused on building rep for your name and perhaps later I can chose to be a leader of a warband, or more, but for now I'm good with ~10 cavalry mercs protecting me while I trade what I've crafted.
A few things I noticed that may come handy in the game:
- Alert for potential threats while speed-travelling (CTRL + Space). This can be added without even breaking the save-games
- Are the map textures always on 100%? It could be my computer but I'm experiencing lag while travelling, almost unbearable when speed-travelling
- I also experience lag when in a battle with more than 20-30 men. Some feature taking CPU that can be disabled?
I'm writing about lag issues only because I don't experience them on other mods (Floris, Silverstag), but again, my laptop isn't that good.
If you ever decide to add new features, please consider Silverstag's autoloot/companion gearing and the companion party roles.

I'm having problems with woodcutting, after I cut the trees down I get an error message in the chat log and nothing appears at the saw pits. I'm also having a problem with trying to talk to a lord I'm enlisted with, whenever I do it seems to treat it as if I've stopped to talk to a farmer.
I'm having the same issue, also the Mithridians are doing that as well, they get stuck on the shores or on their little islands. Any way to fix that or is that something I'd have to wait on a dev to address?
I found a potential solution wich worcked for me. Fist, close all other programs. Then enter the savegame and walk a bit, save, go visit a castle, then save, do anything other than what you did when the game freezes, and save a couple times, then you are good to go. Let me know if this helped any of you. :)
Lords in my game are just hanging out at the port in Zendar , some are running into the mountains ; ex - after the first crusade in my game, mithridian's emperor were just running into the edge of the sea toward the direction of his faction.

Ah I see, didn't even notice that. I'll reupload the files with a little fix for lords to get into towns.

Yes. It's mentioned in the readme file that the exploit has been fixed.

The game freezes while accepting the claimant quest of Lady Annoya of Suno on the last dialogue screen :(
The harbour at Zendar is bugged. There are almost 10 lords stuck on ships near the harbour.
The town of Hierosolyma is missing some options. For example, there is no option to visit the town or the castle.
Also, book, Jihad, and Crusader merchants have no items for sale.

Is anybody else having trouble disabling and enabling the shader?
I do want to say that while I'm having trouble, you have truly outdone yourself with this mod. It is absolutely incredible.

Around day 50, the game just freezes. Any way to fix this?
