it could be both. maybe an early tech could be a type of base you build on it or something. then a later tech you just get something to blow the planet up and you get the chunks and more resources quicker then a late game tech would be riping it apart and processing it piece by piece. then you get even more materials in the long run because you dont lose any from just blowing it up.

or they where made out of some material that is kinda bonded or whatever and trys to stay together during stress so when it exploaded it pulled itself closish together b4 finaly dieing... thats sad

this mod kills my game on max settings. leave shaders on max its got its own thing i guess and the game looks more realish and less cartoon but it kills my fps. turn shaders down to low where the game runs without lagging and it looks like it normally would look lol. sad really.

actually the real laser system is able to destroy artillery shells as well. a chinese barrage ingame however probly a lil much for a base filled with them lol

yeh but the ED use plasma and the UCS are the main enemies of ED. Also seems like plasma wouldnt make a bigger explosion to me. plasma is plasma.

idk whats wrong but not my games broken. i think i installed generals to exthdd to see if i could play the game and take it with me but i cant. i uninstalled the game and reinstalled to computer becuase i wanted to play generals again and i keep installing shockwave to the first decade generals zh folder where it always goes and i got direct 8.1 error. i dont think thats releated to this problem tho when i try to run shockwave it tells me iinstalled it to the wrong folder. ive uninstalled and reinstalld botht he game and the mod twice i think

i was never really able ot see any shell maps for generals unless i used something ot start it up but idr. i just brushed it off though becuase i dotn spend but like 10 seconds in the menu so it snot like im missing anything. also u are bad luck for mods i guess i seen u having trouble with contra, best of luck

always felt kinda bad about that lol. you work for centuries or so building ur fleet with ur ships that your race most likly designed and now you use only, or atleast mostly starfleet designed ships. which where probly designed with help of the races but still thye mostly are Earth Styled

this is the best mod for the game and how civilization should be. my only complaint is that it takes longer to build something that it does to research technologies. its annoying that every tech for the most part seems to unlock new buildings and i get like 10 new buildings to build by the time i finish one.
