Running it with 4GB on ultra, so what's the matter? ^^
Running it with 4GB on ultra, so what's the matter? ^^
Does this release have equal content to DMUC, or is it really an improved DMC version?
And is it compatible with an full DMUC install, or recommended to reinstall the whole thing?
Sorry for bothering with questions and (anyway) kudos all the way for this truly epic project, you all know it's the best. xD
Coming Q4.... omg? Looking -so- forward to this one, I'm very curious about it!
What GPU are you using? In my case, I had to slightly reduce the core and memory clock of my GTX 560Ti (Gainward GS version).
Since then it's running like a charm.
Guess you've ment Darth Mod 7.0, since it's the showcased mod on the main page of ETW. (?)
To answer your question: Heck yes it is good! It enhances the game so much, it's not even funny anymore.
*Plus* it runs absolutely stable (at least it makes no difference to the vanilla version)... So, even if it's a month later after your initial comment: Go and load it (goddammit)! (![!]!)
I certainly did ^^, so thanks for the hint, gonna die (literally) when I finally get to play the mod. =)
Wow! Just saw this one on youtube and again, just wow! Have to try it out -> Now!
Hhmmm, is it just me or is anyone else experiencing stability issues? Game crashes after a few seconds after the battle has started.
Btw.: GREAT mod, I'm just wishing it would run stable on my system. =/
First: I had absolutely no issues getting this to run.
Used Silentspy's HW2 Launcher and it works just fine.
Second: Even at this state, I have to admit that I'm very impressed. Some of the models are looking really great, nicely textured with really good lightning effects.
I really hope that this one get's further developed, kind of missed the possibility to gather further ressources without RU injections, saw some fighters which were missing their jet blast and the audio feedback you get while commmading your units seemed to be a bit out of place... But anyway, I really appreciate this modification.
- Grand potential, right here! -
Just have to, well, extract the .big File of the mod. (Tools are easily "googleble" and even to find on moddb.)
But yeah, as she mentioned, she is asking precisely to -not- extract her file/s.
Maybe you should contact fairy_queen and ask her descretly for her permission. (Just use the "send message" function above.)
Would love to see this one translated as well, maybe you could send him your finished work after all so -she- could implement your translation at the end by herself and that way everyone would be happy. =)
That's by far the most ressourceful statement regarding to the lag problem I've read so far, was wondering if it's just my problem, cause my rig is quite descent.
Damn, we need even faster pc's, or some divine genious which is capable to make HW2 run on 4 cores +. ^^_
Thanks man, great response, totally appreciated!
Gonna' have a rather long way in front of me then, untill I'll get that done. ^^_

Hi, could you please tell me how to bind the player to another key than 'm'? Would be great to use circumflex or a similar (unuseful) key just for opening it.
Great work by the way! Cheers. =)
Oh my... Brilliant mod, a single player playtrough would be just totally epic, but it seems to be fairly bad balanced.
Second mission is impossible, either the transports are going down, or captain sobans frigatte. =/ Is there any way to just increase the hull strength of the transports?
Same for me,
GTX 560 Ti GS (Gainward) @ CC 900MHz. | MC 2100 | Drv.301.42
Phenom II X4 965 BE @ 3,9 GHz.
2 x 2GB DDR3 @ 1333MHz.
Win 7 Ultimate SP1
Runs perfect at the beginning, but starts slowing down to an almost unplayable frame rate. =/
Had a look into the official Forum, but people with performance problems seem to be ignored, mostly.
Can't believe it, there are people with 2,8GHz CPU's and older mid-range GPU's with no problems at all.
Allthough it seems that it isn't a NVIDIA specific problem, since there are people both with ATI/AMD and NVIDIA cards, having performance problems.
So what the hell is this issue about?
This seems like one of the, (if not -the-) best mod/s I've ever seen, wanna play it! =/
Oh-kay... works right now, even with the runtime errors at the start up. So a bit confusing, but besides this errors your work looks amazing so far guys.
I'm just wondering if there isn't any way to improve the textures of the ships, or did I got something wrong with my settings? =o_
Getting runtime errors all the way at the startup.
Got the mod running with a return to desktop when starting a skirmish though.
Deinstalled the mod + hw2, cleaned my registry, reinstalled, now I just get runtime errors, unable to start the modded game at all. =/
Omfg!
This one is just absolutely brilliant!
Played the Napoleon TW DM before, but in relations to gameplay possibilities and improvements, it's even better.
Btw.: Start conditions for the Barbary States in CC are just nuts. =D
Loving it, best mod for ETW! (!)
Nevermind. =3
Had to be some temporary issue with my system =3²
Runs great now, no effect in fps at all =D.
Kudos all the way for this mod guy(s).
I've got a -massive- impact on framerate on the campaign map when using the mod.
Can play on high settings, with all effects below activated in vanilla.
Using a Gainward GTX560Ti GS, Phenom II 965BE and 4GB DDR3@1333Mhz..
So, is it common that the mod decreases performance that much?
Even with deactivated Darth Effects (launcher) there is no increase in fps.
