Faction question...
Is it possible to play as The Undead or as the Hordes of Oblivion in the Campaign? Or are they locked to custom battles only?

The support that Medieval 2 Total War has gotten from the gaming community since its release has really been unbelievable. And it's modders like you guys that have been perhaps the biggest part of that. I can't wait to play the finished project.

Ok! So I am not the only one who noticed that it crashed whenever I tried to switch between the two. Glad to hear it.

In that case, I'm not gonna worry about it because so far that is the only time this mod has crashed on me.

So. Every now and then when I click on Third Age Campaign or Custom Battle, my game will crash without any errors showing up..

I heard that deleting the virtual store should fix this issue but all the instructions say that I should delete it BEFORE I install TATW and DaC...

Is there anyway I can delete my virtual store without re installing the whole mod?

I do have a few disagreements on the attack and defense stats set for a few particular units..

The difference between Beorn's Skin changers and Saruman's berserkers are pretty significant and I would like to be able to change it.

I just need to know what text file I need to change and If I need a particular program

Where might we find the right files to edit?

I think this is an accidental typo error because it doesn't make any sense. It's just a little thing to fix in the next release or patch :D.

The Rhudaur Pikemen unit has 5 attack strength but 17 in total defense. 12 points of that are armor and the men in that unit do not look armored at all.

I think right now they are the strongest pikemen in the game by a longshot. If someone could tell me how to access the unit script to edit it that wouldd be great!

Had the same problem. Turned out I had installed the hotfix for the 2nd patch before I installed the 2nd patch.....DOH!!!
Did you install them in the correct order.

Might have to get this game just for this mod..

That is a tragedy but at least its known how to solve it.

A really nagging issue that i have noticed in this mod as well as in TATW is that if units get stunned in combat, they then take like 10 or more hits to kill while continuously getting stunned. I'm pretty sure that other people have noticed this too. That may be something that you want to address if possible.

Wait. Was there a 2nd patch to this already amazing mod that was made available? Im not getting a hint from the posted updates on the summary page?

I don't know if this is happening to anybody else but sometimes when I click on custom battle or Third Age Campaign the game just suddenly exits. There isn't an error message.
Any solutions?

I would like the sequel to this (if they make another) to take place in the Pacific. Japan v United States. A mod would be a nice introduction but a new game would be even better in a few years.

I do have one issue though.
I went into a sea battle against the iron islands with my northern allies but when the battle started it was my men vs EVERYBODY ELSE, I was literally fighting the ironborn men as well as the northers at the same time. The northerners were supposed to be my allies but they turned on me. Whats going on?
