So I've managed to get the game working but I'm still missing quite a few of the Realms. For example, there is no Rohan, Rhun, Rivendell, Umbar etc.

How do I get these to come up rather than the vanilla?

Hi, does anyone know if they are still working on this mod? If so, could you direct me to a site where they are posting info, cause the latest on anything in this mod I've seen is 2015

It's not super active, but this is the main development thread: Aok.heavengames.com

Here's a thing from April from it:

It's for original. Although you can make it work for the 3.9 patch on HD with some extra work on your end.

You can check for the C patch in the original version by clicking the banner on the top of the main menu with "The Conquerors" written on it. There is no C path for HD, it's changes are all included by default.

how do you get it to work on the HD version

1. Revert to 3.9 ( Steamcommunity.com )

2. Install ToME to the HD directory. By default, this is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Age2HD

3. Download Genie Converter ( Aok.heavengames.com ) switch to the Language Tab, set the Language path to the HD directory, and hit "Convert Language files"

4. Copy the contents of key-value-modded-strings-utf8 generated by Genie Converter and add them to the end of en-language in Age2HD\Bin\en

5. Optionally, move the text files in Age2HD\History to Age2HD\History\en

There isn't one, aside from the installer. Run AoK normally after installing and it will be ToME rather than vanilla.

Turns out there's a little box at the top of the main menu that switches between HD and non-HD. It works now :D. Thanks for the help.

I've got most of the mod up and running but I can't find Rohan or Rhun and there are still some of the vanilla civilisations; Byzantines etc.

Excellent game. Units are have amazing detail. I don't like the design of the Elven buildings but hey, that's just opinion. I haven't noticed any glaring glitches. **Just a few problems... After opening the game a few times, it stopped playing 'Lord of the Rings main theme' and replaced it with the standard medley. I suppose that if I reinstalled it, it would work just fine but I'm far too lazy. I noticed that Rohan, as an AI, will build the Hornburg rather than the standard castle for that type…
