Check out my patreon, unless you don't like adult themes... then ignore the homepage link.
actually when sith or jedi die (in a non-natural type death) they cause enough of a impact or 'disturbance' with the force that it can have many different effects near and in the surrounding areas...
thus a bit a lightning could potentially happen near a body... other effects are possible as well, such as whirlwind/push/dominate (in this case it would be instant loss of consciousness and possibly scrambling thought process' and possibly memory), too the point of causing many different things to happen at the same time which would also have a major impact on the flora/fauna of the environ where they were killed.
personally this has always made me wonder why the ship didnt have more destruction happening to it and the nearby planet than what did happen, considering how nihilus stayed alive for so long as well as his overall connection to the force... the more 'powerful' a sith/jedi is with the force the more catastrophic the disconnection is with the force at death when being killed.
the problem isnt modders, everyone who has played the game wants to mod it... the problem is the learning curve and difficulty in using the (dumbed down engine) modding tools.
because the time to implement something is so long (30 days plus for the rebalance mod) nobody wants to invest that kind of time into making mods without some sort of recompense.
now if people were willing to pay a couple of bucks with a patreon, enough to hire people that would be dedicated to the mod/expansion/fixes or whatever, then we could even work on making the modtools easier to use as well.
any mod or set of mods would not need 100GB size to contain everything that people wanted... however, realistically it will take probably more than 1-2GB of space on the HDD.
looking like a real thief game...
cant wait to check it out.
are you guys considering moving onto professional game making? and if not why not?
will the clicking sound be able to be turned down or something... because its kinda intrusive.
the minions need more 'random' dialog :D
why not try and create a couple of stand alone games instead of a complete conversion (in this case)?...
you guys seem to have the talent, you could create your own games... just a thought.
wall textures, character textures, control panel textures... lookin pretty good.
maybe its outfit textures since they can be changed from char to char...
not bad at all, floor textures need to be updated.
not bad, infact those are pretty nice... need some texturing tho :P
need some red strobes :D
the NYC is good, you might want to make the wan chai market music a little more traditionalistic... but it is pretty good still.
not bad, not bad at all.
living mushroom tower... looks like its grown over a stone tower.
have a friend is much the same way with FO3... its some kind of disease i think, cant help but tweak the next little bit of stuff... then your off again modding.
the new floor texture is a bit off... the original was to show how derelict the district is on the lower levels.
like rusting metal...
the textures are a bit too clean for the areas, just my opinion... they do look good tho.
updated textures do make it look better.
whole new textures is a good idea...
the level up interface is looking good (didnt know jeff foxworthy was in starwars, lol)
the updated original textures look kinda odd, but its still an improvement.
looking forward to see what you do next.
dont suppose you can fix the camera stuff so you can look up and down (or at least set at a different angle of follow)?!
password protected... if you want to take a look and give suggestions, let me know.
you get the pass in pm or email.
looking for specific suggestions:
features (how you would like to see operations happen to make using the engine easier for everyone who uses it)
o please like you even have a clue about if he is lying or not... whether he is lying or not is moot anyways, the point is that the mod is no longer going to be worked on for all intents and purposes.
its not really your look out whether he is tired of putting up with fools like you or if he had a hardware issue or something else... such as personal RL issues.
if all you can do is complain then you are aggravating the problem of failed projects here.... getting almost as bad as the nexus with idiots complaining about crap they haven't got a clue about, making devs want to pull out their hair and/or commit suicide (i am not joking about that btw)... so shut your cake hole and give some positive criticism if thats at all possible for you illiterate rejects from the public school system.
your emotional constipation should not be given over to someone who has probably put more work into a given project than you have ever put into anything you have ever tried in your entire lifetime to date.
so get up off your brain and give it a rest because its obviously starving for oxygen, and try to think before you spout your infinitesimal spooge.
i believe he is indeed :D
you should contact him by email or send a msg through moddb here.
the stock butt still isnt right... not original... but this might make more sense for the setting.
bow wouldn't be able to stand up like that on a table without being on some kind of bow display rack, its the wrong type of item for the scene (way too advanced for whats being offered)...
thats my rundown of what happened there (or what i think is the oops moment)
FNV itself is not a crappy or sucky game... the only thing wrong with it is the storyline.
the game itself is about 100% more solidly built and more stable than fallout... the reason people dont buy it and dont work with it as much anymore (except on the nexus) is because of the terrible story that was written for it, from the main quest line to the side quests that were just cheesy...
dont blame the software for the failure of the writers for the game.
i am glad that vault-tech multiplayer setup is being worked on still for FO3, which does deserve it more than FNV.
a little late in the trimming but it is now done... got sidetracked by RL garbage.
nice... the guy doing the video thing, is a bit odd.
the right one should be re-used as a special or unique dagger type...
makes me think of a snake god or something.
maybe the dagger of osiris.
disclaimer: slayer_2 is still messing around with FO3 stuff... apparently he is addicted to modding FO3 etc.
cool, but um... are you planning on doing custom name recognition between players via the server too?...
looks like you guys are making some serious progress, well slow but serious lol
besides vanilla for both games the first is the better of the two story wise.
not bad, need to fix the land/ground textures thought :D
still need the stencil white paint for grenade type and batch.
should also have black ink stencil on the bottom of the grenade.
looks pretty good otherwise... for the grenade itself.
the barrel needs to have the side smoothed mesh a bit more :D
odd little thing... heh.
valley of the witches tits... lol
at least it looks good :D
seriously tho, good work.
could make it so that you can pick up limbs and stuff to make a lean-to since it is a survival thing.
just saying :P
very nice, looks impressive from this perspective.
i should say even more impressive actually lol
been waiting since 2006 :P
looking forward to actually playing it after seeing pics of the maps/creatures/military/etc. and test videos on various items... sweet sweet closer, well close enough till zen is updated into the game.
smooth, looks nice.
looks like a gallows/hangmans block sorta in that pic.
damn, you guys take breaks for jobs/food/real life/etc. at all?!...
lmao, jeeze... still excellent work.
odd, interesting, weird lol
very nice, very nice indeed.
in fact its friggin awesome.
looks good at any rate.
sorta is, trying more to recreate expression than anything else... only so much can be done with paint tho.
thanks for the comment :D
yep, so much easier to do crap with the proper tools...
lmao, testing games before you buy weird... time on torrent sites, time finding a game that doesnt suck.
a game that is good and worth my non-money, priceless.
ooo... fire egg, lol
love your system shock avatar...
as for the pic... well uh... neat?!. lol
personally i only use my speakers to listen to music and stuff... then i dont use headphones but a headset to game, yelling at ppl with my voice instead of typing everything out is much easier to do; also it doesnt interfere with my gaming.
mess you up.
looks cool, wondering if the red should be a bit darker?...
odd, pretty cool but odd lol
very nice detail
lol, tell everyone how you really feel about it.
how about if they think its this mod they try and fix the mod and let us know about it hmm?! and on top of that why dont you find out what other mods work or dont work with this mod and send any information to us.
it also helps to have fallout mod manager...
the seat, pedals and steering look a bit off (not proportional)... other than that its looking good.
some nice texturing there... lookin good.
totally agree with you... you know its a seriously sad statement on the part of developers when the customers are glad that pirates are around, just to be able to 'own' the game anymore.
and i hate to say this but thank god for pirates of games like this.
take it slow...
that is awesome.
cool, dont suppose you can animate it tho :D
actually there is a ton of detail, its really good.
very nice... extremely well detailed.
even tho the texturing seems a bit basic, it looks good.
cool, looks pretty good with the upgraded textures
not very halo-e but other than that its pretty good.
lmao, well at least there is general ascent to the mod.
spore never shipped with drm btw, it was added with the first expansion i believe... glad i was done playing it at that point.
i could lend you my VO/FX guy for it... pretty simple stuff, what kind of accent do you have might be able to do your own VO work and have my guy do the added effects so it sounds similar to the 40k stuff.
let me know, i need to keep him busy on stuff... also, i wanted to ask if you would be interesting in joining a group possibly for other mods as well as yours?
lol, the perpetual squatter... any plans on resizing?
lol, thats all that you noticed?... brilliant.
the elite armor or w/e is looking kinda cool, if a bit oddly angled.
scuptris?... looks cool, well what there is so far :D
i wish i didnt suck quite so bad at making 2D computer art... oh well.
please do send us anything that you can contribute, the harder you make us work with the content provided the better the mod will become. and even if your input isnt exactly what we are looking for we can use it as a sort of teaching tool for ourselves and maybe more.
thanks, my first 'released' video edit... the sync at the end was pretty much happenstance (by accident), i did try to work the music in to best match when Slayer_2 switched over to god mode.
lol, god mode huh?... looks like my kind of fight, big guns and lots of ppl to shoot. death and dismemberment for all, muahahaha!
interesting, looks alot like what the source engine uses for conversations posing etc.
heavy accent lol, the mouth movement is pretty good however the body movement seems a bit stiff... not bad, im guessing this is a custom engine or did you use another as a base?
bloody goodness. lol
lol, nice vid.
hate to see someone leave the mod scene or move away from game development... but thats life, all the gaming goodness might be usefull later on thanks.
lmao, awesome... genius!
this is news to me.... course i dont look at all the damn sites we have reborn listed on, lol.
always liked that robot...
little odd, but not bad.
nice, very nice.
not bad. lookin good.
cool, nice music too.
no kidding, im hoping we can include some of the other mods that add a bit of realism as well... some of it may not end up in the first version, thats mostly up to slayer_2.
since he wasnt able to add in a model for the AC130U for the last version for FO3, we will try and get it into at least Reborn V2... so far we have been having some issues with getting a proper texture/rigging person for the team (frustrating). long and short is i can hardly wait for release myself :D
nice... happy b-day jessica! lol.
as long as it isnt the pits.
excellent, are you planning on adding support for the other dlc's?
nice, lookin good.
nice details... left one looks good, right needs a small bit of smoothing
other than that they are cool and original very nice.
the more smooth/streamlined and sterile that the weapons look the better... cool concept
true, when i start something like this i will finish it... that said sometimes i have to wait either because of douches that aren't helping when they said they would or time factors, but it is always finished at some point.
the hardest part for me is getting people i can count on and then keeping interest in the project (as a whole) going for the first few weeks. after that it becomes sorta routine, but the people who stick it out are the ones who care about what they are doing and end up giving the project there best work... because they believe in it and are committed to finishing it and being able to stand back and say 'yea i helped with that and i'm did my best work on that project' etc., instead of keeping quiet about being associated with a project.
nice, looks like its coming along fairly-well... personally i would like to see a small amount of fog around the side areas.
other than that, its looking really awesome...reminds me a little of grade school *shudder*
nice concept, bit flat/square ish...very nice
lol, i know how that is at times... stiff upper lip etc. anyways still looking good, still looking forward to playing this mod.
pretty good, you should have bolts showing on the front were the straps attach to at the back so it looks more realistic.
awesome work tho.
should have some 'handle bars' or something and some foot rests...still its pretty good.
im here huckleberry. will send you a message too, just incase you miss this one :D
ready to create vehicle models and the like when you are.
SW speeder... not bad, but proportions are a bit off but very nice none the less.
sweet, seems like your getting faster and faster at modding the game...awesome, looking forward to the release.
nice army outfit.
heat stroke anyone?!
look there is a fountain...no, wait, its just an illusion.
what no 50.cal side arms?! lol, that would be sweet tho, specially a silences 50.cal...mmm...making things explode. seriously the 45.cal is awesome too.
dark, but what i can see of the foliage looks good.
cool, i think the only issue i had with v7 was the crass about 15min in or so...and i think i may have that resolved. thanks for the update.
i see your using a lot of the environment stuff from HL2...its cool though because this is a nice in game pic and excellent use of space/lighting/props, good work.
nice, the frilly things are odd....restraunt right?
nice detail work.
by the way you can just add me to the steam stuff, since i already have it...sb.seed
its cool, i have been sidetracked myself for a while...RL and the holidays have put a hold on my projects.
awesome ideas, will be great to see what comes of them and/or how they are emplimented.
i can help with 3d models, however i dont do human shapes very well...that said i can do vehicles, ships (space and non), environment models such as pots columns and other misc. stuff.
you can check what i have worked on so far on my profile, realize that those are just a few of the many things i have done.
cool, looks realistic.
gotta love the old, oldies :D
ok, thats weird its not showing up... ah, there we go.
nice, reminds me of bellbottoms and tube-shirts...gotta love the 60's highschool pop culture :D
oldies style, nice...sounds good, look forward to hearing it ingame.
lol, gotta watch out for those diet suplements, they'll make you a little too skinny :D
ok, seriously thanks for the updates.
also, i too hate windows live POS! i really wish they would get rid of it when shipping stuff with something like steam.
odd...the bumb mapping makes the light double reflect off the oposite side of the 'brick'...still it does make it look shiney as if it just rained or something.
not sure what look your going for, personaly i like the old look a slight better.
thanks, will be playing soon.
just noticed your comment on my profile page(about deus ex), sure i would be glad to help out anyway i can...and i was doing my own mod for a few reasons: experience with hammer and whatnot...however if the other deus ex mod's didnt do anything more or release down the road then i would have tried to start up a new one. that seeming to not be the case, and you are serious about wanting help let me know how best to work with you. my email email@example.com
gotcha, wasnt really complaining just commenting. i love the work your putting in to this mod.
nice custom guns...mmmmm god mode, or not...
the guns do look good, some of em sound a bit odd...
awesome, thanks adam...i appriciate your information.
